I'd say that is a Sheepsfoot CharlieTaylor's Eye Witness!! If a blade only tapers slightly, 30/1,000", is it a Lambsfoot, or a Sheepsfoot??View attachment 1858087

You are correct!!My understanding is a sheepsfoot's spine is parallel to the edge, whereas a lambsfoot tapers down tang to tip. I may well be incorrect, however.
Ha Ha!!We shall call it a ShamFoot.![]()

Well, the votes are in; I guess you need a more noticeable taper to call a blade a Lambsfoot!!I'd say that is a Sheepsfoot CharlieAnd a very nice one

Sharpening can cause a taper on a Sheepsfoot, but it'll still be a SheepsfootWell, the votes are in; I guess you need a more noticeable taper to call a blade a Lambsfoot!!

Peaches & Cream! Amazing
Wasn't that the title of an album by Herb Albert and The Tijuana Brass back in the 70's? I think that may have been one of his albums I had back then ... or maybe it was a song on one of the albums?Peaches & Cream
