Horse or Bear scat ????

Wrong color, size, configuration & texture for anything I've ever seen a horse leave behind, including what's out in my back lot here.

I'm still inclined to think this is from a domestic animal. Donkey? Goat? Llama?

after 25 yrs of owning and caring for horses I can tell you without a doubt it's horse apples.

now that depends on what the horse is eating and how much exercise it gets and even whether or not the horse is nervous.

If it were grizzly scat it would have little bells in it and smell like pepper spray :)

not bear...
not moose...
not elk...
not horse... (unless you have a size 21 shoe!)
not Snicker... (They outweigh him by a pound or two)
did Maisy have pups?...... he he.

..... must be a "Saskumatwatch"

In all seriousness.... it looks like a grazer for sure. I would have said horse if it wasn't for the scale issue.

David,
There's a possibility you could be right, it's just not like anything I've ever seen come out of a horse. :)

Denis

It's horse. Probably a miniature, or a smaller pony. But, it's certainly from a horse.

"Twinkies" or "Sloppy Joes"

Male bear scat looks like "Twinkies" & Female scat looks like "Sloppy Joes."

This is for Blak Bears.

When you put a little on your bottom lip and suck air through your teeth, are you reminded of juniper berries or corn muffins?
