Dave, Reference the "110"sheath, I note the tang says "Japan" so is there a maker stamp on the other side of the tang? Amazing work done with all those bags! John
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Been a while since I've had a chance to post here. I got those knives above all shipped out and they are at heat treat currently. I started a new small batch of 6 knives and finished them a couple of days ago. These have been posted on the website.
Here's a few pics:

A Coyote. As I was making this batch I started calling this knife The African knife. It has African Blackwood for a spacer and African Bubinga as the handle. I thought it came out pretty striking. Whadya think? Funny thing was there was no intent it just kind came out that way:

Rick contacted me and asked if I could make a sheath for his 110. I told him I had a lil modification I wanted to make for better retention in this style of sheath, it's made by many makers but I always worried about 110s retention. So he agreed for me to give it a try on his order and bam! It just snaps into place with an audible clunk.

Thank you sir! It was great talking to ya. Should ship out tomorrow I think. We don't make it into town every day. Funny deal, I didn't post pics of it in the first post this morning cause I hadn't moved them over to Imgur yet.
LOL you and me both! I immediately checked if it was still on the web site and it was (which made closing the tab harder).Love that woolcarta Cowboy! If I had the funds I would have bought it already.
Thank you! I've thought about it. At the time that was made the guy was also making me some Wranglercarta from. my old jeans. Was popular in our cowboy world. He's since passed away and we don't have stacks of silk or wool leftovers anymore.Great group of knives, Dave. That Coyote is a looker. I like the grain in the oak Cowboy quite a bit too. Think you’ll try to find a micarta maker for more ____carta in the future?
I have an old blaze orange wool coat from Bemidji Woolen Mills (great wool products made in northern Minnesota) that I think would make neat knife handles for hunters and those that want a hi-vis knife.
Good deal! Sent ya another pic email this morning. Thanks for posting the pix, Dave. I wanted to save some to the laptop, but by the time I got back from town they were removed from the site.
(I emailed before coming back on here, so you can disregard when received.)

Yeah John it says Tasco. It came with a rifle scope I bought, a Tasco World Class 3x9 that I got back in the 80s. Pretty darn good scope too. I'd noticed reading all the gun rags back then, that the writers were using these World Class Scopes on their own personal rifles. Not so much the fancier ones they were testing in the mags. It has worked out very well for me. Its on my Win M70 Featherweight in 7x57mmDave, Reference the "110"sheath, I note the tang says "Japan" so is there a maker stamp on the other side of the tang? Thanks. It's a nice one. Nichole was tempted to keep it and not put it on the website.Love that woolcarta Cowboy! If I had the funds I would have bought it already.
Very cool. You've got quite a collection of accoutrements if I remember correctly. All done in the water buff overlay.Thank you sir. Looking forward to it arriving so I can start carrying it. I will also post photos when it arrives.
Sorry for the temptation!LOL you and me both! I immediately checked if it was still on the web site and it was (which made closing the tab harder).
Ya bet! There were a couple of others too and as it happened she needed to go into town so took those packages along to drop off.Got it Dave and replied to the side discussion about our past employment. Really appreciate you and Nichole getting the order out as well.
Yes sir. A couple holsters and a mag carrier. The only thing with the overlay was the first sheath you did for me that is small of the back.Very cool. You've got quite a collection of accoutrements if I remember correctly. All done in the water buff overlay.

Excellent! The red woolcarta Cowboy is headed to Kansas. I really like the red woolcarta. When I read it's the last of it. After pondering about it I finally gave in to temptation. It'll be joining the SBK, Gordo
