Fugawee, LMFAO actualy it is at Michigan Police Equipment in Lansing. They have great deals and Glock blue deals for LEO. I have been dealing with the element that buy guns at the KFC in Detroit.

What do you guys think? .44 Mag SRT Bison, supposed to be pretty quiet. Kind of a short range gun. Gonna shoot it this weekend. :D

That is a sweet looking rifle.what scope do you have on it? I quit rifle hunting 13 years ago and only bowhunt. Kinda funny for a guy with 2 gun safes full.

Let us know how it shoots. My tack driver is a Weatherby Mark V accumark in 300 Win Mag. I have dropped Caribou in their tracks fro 80 to 419 yards with 1 shot. I have killed 7 Caribou with it and not one ever took another step. 180 grain Nosler Partitians.

Ok guys,I need some help.
Im sure youve heard that we can now have a handgun in Chicago.
In 10 days a new city ordinance will pass which
would amongst other things require a 4 hour class
and 1 hour range time,a registration fee,and other bs.

I am not against learning the proper way to handle firearms etc,
just against daleys bs.

So,here in illinois we have a 72hour waiting period for a handgun.
Right now,it is legal to own a handgun in Chicago.
I want to go get one (maybe more than one) before the
city ordinance goes into effect.

I have NO idea what to get.
I dont want a cannon,I have had very limited time with a pistol.
Something that isnt gonna cost an arm and a leg to shoot
(I expect many trips to a range with my kid)
Some type of semi auto.
Something reliable,accurate and well built.
(I may get a Ruger security 6 as well,if I recall,they shoot 357 and 38 specials)

Any ideas

glock 19 or 17

glock 21 if you like expensive ammo

PS: No firsthand experience, insane ammount of research online.

Fugawee as a certified master firearms trainer I always recommend a 4 inch 357. You can shoot 357 or cheaper 38 specials. you can not go wrong with a Ruger they are all way overbuilt. If you are dead set on a semi auto look at the 9 mm glock 19. It is a little smaller than the 17 and if you get a CCW very easyily concealable. With the right ammo they all have about a 93% one shot stop.It all boils down to shot placement.2 in their chest is way better than a loud miss.Just my 2 cents.
