Jeremey I am willing to be your spotter anytime brother! Chibbi load that baby up with some good hollowpoints.I am debating between a Glock 10 mm next or a Ruger blackhawk in 45 lc.

go Glock 10mm, 15 rounds of 10mm goodness is always nice to have

I will need a spotter to get the dope,

silverbullets I always think Glock because i can buy them at department price. My Gen 4 model 22 I bought for $388 plus tax and got a free range bag and glock hat.Not bad considering Gander mountain wants $ 599 plus tax for the exact same gun.

that is a good price, I tend to think along the lines of going semi's because I just have that feeling the wheel guns will be available to us a lot longer :(

Unfortunately, Hollow Points, expanding and/or explosive rounds, are illegal overhere,,, they'd rather you shoot through your wall and hit the neighbours kid in case of a self-defense situation at home

I'm taking her out for a spin tomorrow evening,,, probably wont sleep toninght, since it's the first time I'll ever have shot a .45ACP,,, am used to .22LR and 9x19mm,,,

Any tips ? :D

Chibbi, same here with the forbidden hollowpoints - that's Europe :thumbdn:
As for the shooting, just hold the thing tight, the recoil isn't much stronger than with 9mm...

Chibbi The recoil on a 45 is not much more than a 9.With the Glock hold the trigger to the rear after you shoot and let it forward till you hear a click.this is your sear resetting. Your next shot will take only half the pressure and you do not have the long trigger travel.Makes for a lot accurate secound shots.

Mike

I allready dry-fired a couple of times, using snap-caps and I feel the trigger-pull is very different from what I'm used to shooting the G17/19,,, a lot less travel it seems and smoother,,,

Or maybe it has been too long ago that I shot the 9x19mm Glocks,,, or the Glocks we have at work are old and worn,,, :D

Paulinski are those 460 S & W rounds or 500? I have some hot handloads of 300 grain Hornady XTP's loaded up for my Ruger 44 mags.
