gotta smokin deal on it:D

if you are referring to having a lower aimpoint mount so the dot sits on the top of the front sight, i like that better. i could see using the "lower 1/3" mounts if you have a fixed front sight that might block your vision when looking through the optic, but with flip front and rear sights, i like the lower aimpoint mount. you have less of a discrepancy between point of aim and point of impact at CQB distances. i independently zero my irons and red dot. i wouldn't trust the "co witness" method of zeroing one or the other. ymmv

Coo - thanks for the info

I also zero the irons and optics independently.

I might try the low Aimpoint mount as well.

Sorry it took so long Cabra

Redbear lovin the Cobra. I have a 6 inch barreled one on my night stand loaded with 3 speedloaders just in case. Mine has the Colt pacmyer grips on it. love the camp 2. I can not wait to get my big chopper from Jeremey!

How do you like that M4-2000 Rick?

i like the attachment method and it seems to be pretty quiet. the only thing I've compared it to side-by-side is the YHM phantom. sound reduction seems about the same. the AAC is a few ounces lighter, but other than that there isn't much difference.

About what I thought. The AAC does index easier than the phantom. How do you like that Breakout? I have the Blackout tuning forks on mine. :D

The breakout works great on full auto and rapid fire. the muzzle absolutely doesn't move. the down side it that it is ridiculously loud. i'm talking rattle your teeth loose. When i shoot that rifle I wear earplugs under my earmuffs.:barf: It is even worse for those standing next to you. It would not be a good choice of muzzle devices for a team environment, which is why I have the blackout on my work rifle, so the suppressor can be attached to either. the blackout works awesome. it's cool to stand down at the end of the firing line and watch when people shoot at night. you can tell who has the blackout/vortex and who doesn't;)
