Overhere you have to be 18 years old to even handle a gun.
You have to get a training permit (theoretical and practical exams) before you can even try one out. Not like before, when you could shoot the gun of your family-members,,,
You have to decide upfront, before you even handled it, what type and make of gun you wish to purchase,,, so no trying guns out in the store or anything,,,
Last time I bought a gun, I had to wait over 6 months on my permit, now it seems it will only :rolleyes: take about 5 months,,, and that's for a simple handgun,,, semi-auto pistol,,,
You can only shoot your gun in a certified gun-range,,, so, no shooting on your private land or anything like that,,,
You can only shoot guns for which you have a permit or license and even then you have to fill out an official form if you want to shoot with the gun of a friend for instance,,,
A carry permit is obtainable, but very, very hard to get,,,, I have one 'cause of my job, but it's only legit when I'm actually on the job,,, you have to have a legal reason to carry a gun,,, yet another vague law,,,
If you're a hunter, better be prepared to study hard 'cause the exams for hunters can easily compare to that of a university examination, I'm not exagerating here,,,
You have to lock up your guns in a way that wouldn't indicate that guns are stored there,,, yes, this is very vague, but representative for our Laws,,, they're always open to interpretation and at will of the judge of that moment,,,
A case with exactly the same facts could easily be dismissed by one judge and prosecuted by another,,, and THAT's what bothers me the most 'bout our laws,,,

I just speak for what I know, I have heard that Belgian law was thougth-er but I did not know that bad. In any case I was defending your case mang. I know how it feels to wait that long for you gun. It sucks!
 
I know mang,,, no worries,,, just had to get that of my chest,,, not directed at you, but at the frustration of having to wait yet another mont and a half,,, we coo' mango :thumbup:

We'r all ways cool, no problems here. I understand. If I were around I'll pay the beers as long as they are belgians or germans.... :D:thumbup:

But ... I have no particular gun content at this time.

However ... my Horton Hats keep my ears warm in DC's arctic temperatures. That is all for now.
