Its possible but there is a ton of paperwork required.

An importer here charges $700 to import one gun which is ridiculous - but I hear that Buffalo Gun Center in Tonawanda NY does importing for $100 or $150.

That is more bearable - I will look into that.

Large, did you go with the Rough Rider or standard model?

i ended up going with a couple of the TGI "truck guns". they are original bulgarian built rifles with chrome barrels. Lancaster wasn't going to have chrome barrels available for a few weeks and I was afraid the corrosive surplus ammo would eat up a nonchromed barrel.
