I want a 14.5 or a 10.5 bad, I just don't think I can get the paperwork thru in Iowa...

Also, if your only gonna have one. Instead of buying a ShrubbMaster. I won't talk crap about them, cause I have one. :o

Look into the Tier 1 Guns. They are'nt that much more. Daniel Defense, Colt, LMT, Noveski, Bravo Company, to name a few. JMHO, but I think you'll be happier with one of them.

Lots of better options that bushmaster - take a look at Bravo Company or LMT

Often you can save the tax by buying an upper and lower separately and take 2 seconds to push two pins.

1/7 is a very versatile twist - 55gr all the way to 77gr works

I'll see what I can find in these other brands. I'm not set on Bushmaster by any means, it's just what I see all the time in the shops/stores I go to. Thanks for the recommendations guys.

My brother in law was lookin for the most accurate long range rifle one could buy barring any .50 cal. Thanks for your help fellas. He's hangin with me now, so a quick reply would be much appreciated.

One more q fellas...My bro in law is a deer hunter and he has always used iron sights. However, he is interested in getting a scope.....He is unsure of the name, but he hears that the scope on military m-16 is very effective for his needs. He is shootin 3 inch magnums, so he is nervous about putting his grill within 5 inches of a scope. Can you provide info on this, and whether or not it is the best buy for his money? Thanks a million.

Something in .338 lapua. Bolt action. What's his price range and what will he use it for?

He is looking for rodent hunting and some competition with the kids. He looking to have the accuracy of hitting a quarter within 200 yards, and he is looking to have a gun with great accuracy as his kids are competing with him. He looking to keep the package sub $750. Thanks Rick.

yeah, there's just something about a SBR...

I have a Savage Model 12 Low Profile in .204 Ruger that with factory Hornady ammo will do 1" groups at 200y all day. 1.5# trigger, stainless fluted heavy barrel and laminated wood stock. Recoil is so soft you can watch your hits through the scope! Should be able to find one and get a half decent scope/rings for under $750.

better bust out the .50, them squirrels are dangerous!!! they can smell blood from 1000 yds.:D:D

Savage 10fp in .223, or a 12bv in 22-250 will work nicely, the 12bv is more than 750, but they have something similar in the range.

then again, i don't know jack about jack...
