Yeah, it's a nice gadget. Even though it's waterproof, I got a dry bag for it so it'll float if I drop it.

We normally camp at Tompson's Point on the Illinois side,
but drive across the river and go all over Iowa.
I think we were at some crystal caves or something up north
of clinton... Lead mine or something it was. Have to check out
that place you mentioned.

another pretty cool place south of there called wild cat springs. i think its on the illinois side. we used to go there when i was little and find geodes. they were fun to break open as kid, so yours might dig it too :)
