Last sunday my brother-in-law hit 2 horses with my semi-vac. Truck sustained 50,000 or more in damage and the horses were DOA. It was a waste of livestock and my truck will be out of commission for at least 6 weeks.

This is a graphic album, don't look if you are weak stomached. It was a very good thing the semi took the impact as it would have killed most occupants in a passenger vehicle. I hope this reminds those of us that drive professionally and livestock owners(I own horses too) to do everything we can to keep our stock in the fences and to avoid these collisions if possible.

In this case there was oncoming traffic with highbeams on until 150 meters away. When the oncoming vehicle dimmed the lights the horses were blocking the entire lane about 50 yds away and the oncoming traffic blocked the other, without options, my BIL stayed on the roadway and this is what happened.
