I discussed that with the man today,, thinks it might get too brittle,, but this process I'm getting done,, is very high end,, if it out performs my treat,, I may shift to sending out treat to them,, if it gives me more time to grind in volume,,

This is a state of the art professional Heat treating Facility,, and equipment,, they have done all the heat treating for my work for the last 20 years,, experts in tool steel,, I'm just old school treating,, and it works great,, and I'm very happy with everything I have made,, but if it can be optimized,, using these methods,, it is worth trying,, I am one of the few makers, I know that treats there own tool steel, other than O-1,, the tool steel performance can be maximized,, by controlling quench temps and times,, we will see.. Did you look at the website for the company,,?
