hey j. i checked on RAGBRAI and they only allow 10,000 people to register, but that doesn't include unregistered riders, support vehicles, vendors, and people just coming to party.
 
About the fish, I don't use the carp for anything. The population of them in the lake is out of control you could say. There are other fish though; largemouth bass, catfish, blue gill, shell cracker, crappie, and of course the carp and a few gar. I've never heard of anybody eatin gar though.
 
ok, school me on having a snake as a pet. i've always wanted one and I found a reptile rescue operation a couple miles from my house. They have ball pythons and red tail boas available...
 
Bro---I don't support this pet trade but... do lot's of research... lot's! Jump on- line and go. Snakes can make great pets but they have special requirements. We rescued a green iguana and he free roams our house. Lot's of fun!
