J,

I'm working on a custom signature banner for those of us who wish to display it. Looking for wording to go on the bottom. it's gonna say CLUB PLATINUM but I need a tagline to go under it.

I'll get some draft pics up tomorrow.
Cool, I'm down.

My suggestions AngryFish: "We dont need no mirrors" "Straight outta Camden" "Two pound razors" "Fatcamp(referring to the thick bladestocks)" Will try to think of more...

Hahaha. Two Pound Razors is pretty cool.. I'm thinking definite Carbon Fiber background and somehow going to try to work the mirror convex edge in there.

Good stuff.
Oil it is, Bruce.
I knew a cook from Olso...years ago. He worked at our hotel, Roy Something.

Back from a bike ride with momma.

Olso---I wondered about that.
This Roy was on leave from the service. The army's rifle was the H&K G3...
coo.

Our army used G3's untill last year or something. Now we're rollin' with the new HK 416 ;) An upgrade, but I wish they'd gone with a 6.8mm instead of the 5.56mm...

I just know a little. The 8mm was an ideal round for close quarter combat. The Germans used that round in their STG-44. The 5.56 is a hell of a round though.

All I know is that many people say the 5.56 doesnt always pack enough punch to get the job done.. And that the 6.80 might be the best compromise between the 5.56 and the 7.62.

coo. I will do some research later...on D web. :D
What's the word on the new army rifle, Kougie? Too soon?

I honestly dont know. Dont know anyone who has shot it. Im going in January '10. Kinda looking forward to it. Im being sent way up north though.. -30 degrees C is not uncommon during the winter. They also went from the MP5 to the MP7.

I really wish someone would run with the other round that came out of the same group that came up with the 6.8SPC. They developed a non-platform specific round that they felt was the "ideal" assault rifle cartridge. It was a 7x46 round. The funny thing is that it's very similar to the old British/Belgian 7x43 round the FAL was originally chambered in.
