I made an interesting discovery:

I usually convex by hand, and finish w/ a strop and some Mother's Mag Polish.

Sometimes I use a leather belt on a sander and pink compound, but I got a better result with Mother's Mag Polish on the power-belt than I get with the pink compound. Scary sharpness.
