I cannot make anymore knives than I already do, being part time, do I need a website

You need one if you ever decide to quit the day job and do this fulltime. Until then, whatever you're happy with.

Plus you could do Gimp of the week, post random T&A, and say funk, and stuff

Plenty of web activity right here, which is where it's gonna do you the most good.

Why start another project when you don't have time already??
 
Yep- website would be awesome. Some of the pics Peppercorn took would be great stuff to work with. Hats, shirts, wristbands, license plate frames, Horton iphone apps, smaller Horton knives in Happy Meals, designer Horton eye glasses, purses, etc. If you need more marketing I'm yer man!

My son thinks J and bear are a couple of knife crazy gun loving dark gangsters...!

You definitely need a website:
1- A website makes you "Google official"...The World Wide Web is one of / will be our # 1 method of communication.
2- The internet is the 2nd most effective form of universal advertisement (T.V. prob.=1st)...BUT Internet is MUCH CHEAPER.
3- Your products/services will be available 24/7 and at the convenient click of a mouse. (rather than luckily stumbling upon a secondary market BF's sale...like I did.)
4- Anyone interested can research your business, see updates, contact you, leave suggestions, and place orders, which would then lead to the promotion, growth and finiancial stability of Horton Knives.
5- Not to mention - You would finally recieve the recognition you deserve for all your hard work and effort in collaborating a serviceable product with such a valuable work of art.
6- Then, 2 years from now (and one year after you quit your day-job), you can kick back in a lounge chair, fondle that very first knife you ground, ....and consider making me the Vice President of Horton Knives because I once inspired you to build a website!

Haha...I actually hate computers, but A website is definitely a good idea.

(BTW-Let me know if you hear of anyone wanting to sell their Camp Blood.)

The disadvantage is a lot of unneeded questions from people who can't take the time to read the site and take up your time answering question that they would find themselves.
The advantages out-way this, but it's still a pain in the A and tends to piss you off.
