Hossom Bowie Vs. Leg of Lamb! And the Winner Is...

Hey Mario,

About the "I'll cut you everywhere it's not . . ." How about we make a deal right now between gentlemen?

I promise not to assault you, if you promise not to cut me. Deal?

Of course, that's always been the fundamental problem with fighting- that no matter how much you train and how good you think you are, chances are that there will always be a Cuesta, McGrath, Canete, or Gaje out there who could just wipe the floor with you. So, my philosophy is...

Train because you love it and to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Treat everyone with respect- because its right and because you just never know...

And never ever think that you are hot s**t and go looking for trouble, because there is always someone better-always.

Now, Matt, I think that I should be asking for that Gentleman's Agreement every bit as much as you! Let's agree to always be friends and leave the knives in their sheaths- unless its to train together.

And Jeez, Jerry!...do you wanna give me nightmares tonight just thinking about Dong or Bill coming at me with blades while wearing armor! In fact, I'd better stop thinking about it this minute or I might soil my pants right here and the patients just wouldn't understand.

Ahhhhhh!!!!

Thank God I continually practice THE most important aspect of knifefighter training- running away at high speed before the fight ever gets started!

Jerry, it is nice to see someone devote some thought to the binding aspect of wood cutting, most focus on penetration alone.

Thanks Cliff. Right now, we (I and some very knowledgeable martial artists who really know how to use blades) are focussing intently on host of application-based design and testing parameters. Our goal is to create fighting knives with superior peformance against real targets - flesh and bone protected by likely forms of soft armor (denim, leather, even the bullet proof vest Gaucho tested). Balance, blade speed, edge and point geometry, handle ergonomics, etc. are very much a part of our program.

All that, and the knives look really SEXY too!! If Mr. Hossom's knives were females, they'd be BLADE BABES!
