How about an ESEE gun thread?

That's pretty sweet, I've heard of Poole hunting seer with ars but never seen someone be successful.

What grain bullet do you use?

A 55 grain Barnes TSX

Beautiful man, beautiful. Not enough people love the lever-action.

I really can't warm up to the modern designs, a M1 Garand is a far as I'll go. Vintage just speaks to me.

If you can find an Arsenal SLR 95 or SA 93, these Bulgarians are considered by many to be the best commercially available AKs. Milled receivers, good barrels, quite accurate, bullet proof.
This is my SA 93, wearing a new suit of clothes from KVar. I traded a double stack makarov for it back in 1993.

Dave, Menace, I'm interesed in which AKs yoall have. Romanian WASRs, Yougos, so on and so forth.. I'm interested in getting an AK as a beater. Just starting to look around at what's available.

mine is a wasr, well its my daughters now she claimed it. the black one on the end is a saiga12 that i converted. the polish milled recievers are good, they are heavier and they tend to be more accurate in my experiance. you might also take a look at psl's. i tend to like the more beat up looking ak's with wood furniture. i've had maadi's that were really nice too. my next one will be a draco pistol probably. a friend of mine has all the tools to build one from the reciever now so i'll probably build a couple of different variations.

Mine is a WASR-2, and I love it. The wasr's are cheap and Century tends to have some quality control issues, I would never buy one sight unseen, but Century has a pretty good warranty if you have any issues. They're not beauty queen's but they are work horses, and they'll go bang every single time you pull the trigger

And of course I've posted this horrifying picture of my WASR-10 here a few times before.

Have a few more but no pics of them on the internet. I have a meager but perfectly serviceable collection.

Dave, Menace, Mannlicher, thanks for the IDs. I've been looking at the "Certified" WASR-10s at hendersondefense.com. They check for canted sights and proper mag lockup, which is a couple things I've herd century WASRs have problems with. The only thing I'm concerned with is that I've heard WASR-10s arent as good as WASR 10/63s. I'm not sure if I should do the "certified" 10, or take a chance on a regular 10/63. I'd like to have an Arsenal.. but I don't want to spend the $

New baby.

Already have a .357 barrel coming for it.

Some great photos! Guns and knives do seem to go together. I could use a better camera but will add a few of mine anyway.

Great lookin little collection there bro! I love your 308!

Thanks! The Savage was my last purchase. I just got into long range shooting. THe weather here isn't real condusive to shooting outside lately, but I might try to get out for awhile today actually. Suppossed to get into the 20's or 30's today. Closet range only goes out to 200 YARDS, but there is another one a little further way thast I want to join that goes out to about 600 YARDS.

Hey, where are your pics? ;)

Unfortunately I've had to move a couple times in the last couple years and so I decided to stick my guns in my friends guns safe so I wouldn't have to worry about them for the time being. The only one I have with me is my very first gun I ever got, my Ruger 10/22. I got it for Christmas when I was 11 from my parents. Since just about all of us have one, I wasn't in to big of a hurry to post up a pic of it since it's bone stock, just the way I got it back. Once I get my "tools" out I'll throw them up here. I know what you mean, it can be tough to find a range that goes out beyond 1-200 yards these days in some places.

Here is a pic of my saiga and ar. I have a "few" more but these I am most proud of cause I put them together. The ak saiga is the way to go! Brand new gun chrome barrel and just replace parts with US I have all the required and then some.
