How are sellers supposed to communicate with non-paying members?

In my last two sales the advantage went to the already established paid members over the none paying members who replied first, but only within a mere few minuted because I receive PMs on here faster than when none-paying members get their email to me via BFC. To be clear, these have been instances where either a clear "I will take it" was more assuring than a mere "send you a message" as the latter does not necessarily guarantee a commitment to purchase. But in any event, my ToS clearly state that ultimately it is my sole decision to sell to whomever I choose to!

Is this elitism? Well, I really don't care and I merely brought this up because there was a related thread to my topic recently. Being a paid member does not mean a whole lot if the person is planning on fraud but then again I know that the Mods on here can verify the veracity of messages embedded in private communication vs images of outside email messages that can be altered after the facts.

In summary, I prefer to deal with paid members because if I sell on here, my communications are more streamlined and can also be verified by a Mod.

How am I supposed to give the buyer my email address without putting it in the sale thread or on my profile? Both of those are publicly viewable.

You could always ask the buyer to post his email address and then you mail him privately. Not perfect but a solution.
