How can you determine if your paramilitary is a fake?

Here is one in D2. The counterfitters are using super steels now.

My whole point was that some replicas are pretty darn good in steel and the way they are made that some of you would not know the difference except for the low price. Even the steels they use now are the new super steels.

This one is $57. delivered (Yes those are titanium handles) What is more amazing it is a copy of a Sebenza 25 which is their newest design.

Do you believe everything you read on the Internet? Certain countries have no laws regarding advertising and patents. That one Chinese site may say the steel is D2 or S30V or the handles are titanium but you really have no idea what kind of parts they are using. You are arguing down a bad road and for a practice that really does hurt the knife industry. I would let it go.

Cheap asses here, buy fakes? You don't want to buy fakes. If you can't pay it, don't buy it. Simple. Quality comes with a cost.

I'll address your questions in reverse order-

Unless you fed it into a mass spectrometer there would be a real serious question as to whether it was the same medication. You might have bought $22 aspirins. I've had co-workers that were stationed overseas. They said you could buy certain US products in stores, such as cookies, but when you opened them you could tell that they weren't the same product. With a small pill that looks the same how could you tell? And if it was supposed to be the same medication made by another company, how would you really know what was in it, if it worked the same way, or if it had other side effects?

Yeah, no! They were heart medication that I bought while in Brazil from a Brazil pharmacy. I would be dead if they were not the real thing. I think you are assuming that I ordered some meds from an online pharmacy .

I also found out that other meds were a fraction of the cost. Believe it or not pharmacies in other countries are legit.

Which brings us around to the argument of "intellectual property".

Again a lot of assuming here.

The pics did not come from a dealer but instead from a member here who reviewed the knife and posted about how good the fakes are getting. The point of the post is it is becoming more difficult to tell the replicas apart from the real deal.

Again , not ALL replicas or "fakes" are the same quality. But some are getting pretty close.

You can see the post here:

But that is not the point of why you are here. Everyone should remember the first thing you said in this thread:

Someone explain to me what the problem with buying fakes? If the fakes are so good that it is almost impossible to tell the difference from the real thing why not just buy the fakes since they make the same product cheaper? Or why doesn't the original manufacturer lower their prices since the same product is being made with obvious low cost to them?

Doesn't that seem to you like the original product is ripping YOU off if others can duplicate the same exact thing for a fraction of the cost?

But that is not the point of why you are here. Everyone should remember the first thing you said in this thread:

If you intentionally misrepresent meanings, that makes you a liar, plain as day. But if you misrepresent
meanings through carelessness, through laziness,it shows that you have in you the making of a liar.

You are putting two different posts together of mine to misrepresent what the meaning was. Good on you! I am not going to bother answering since anyone with some proof reading knows what you are doing here.

Judas hanged himself (Matthew 27:5).
“Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37).

I thought you were ignoring me? I hope you see the irony in your above post as a person who is here promoting counterfeiting.

Luckily it seems the thread has calmed down a bit (may or may not be some sarcasm here) lol. Thanks again guys for all the help and I'll be sure to follow up on this topic in a separate thread once the knife is received!

Much appreciation,
Dennis

I feel like this variation was a distributor exclusive (moteng, if I remember correctly) rather than a dealer exclusive or Sprint run and has been reoffered quite a few times through various dealers.

Regardless, look forward to hearing back.
