How come there are no celebrities on the forums??

Cliff Stamp posts here sometimes. And I saw a post from Joe Talmadge just today. Bill Martino posts a lot.

Do you think those guys will ever do a live concert together?

Hey, don't forget, God showed up in one thread.

I have sold balisongs for a couple of notable celebs. In both cases, they wanted to remain strictly anonymous since this is part of their private life. Same thing with posting in the forums.

Besides, they want bargains just like any collector, but their mear identity gets in the way. Are you going to let someone who's screen name is "Bill Gates" have $50 off on the knife you're trying to sell? Of course not. He'd register using a name like "PoorBoy" or "DownAndOutInSeattle".

Lmao Athanatos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chuck, if Bill Gates was interested in buying one of my knives, I would give it to him for free. Wow, that would be awesome to know one of my blades is owned and appreciated by someone on that plain!!

OK, I'll give it up. I'm actually Natalie Portman. In real life I'm 6'2", but they do amazing special effects to make me look like a gorgeous 15-year old.

When I was a kid,Jimmy Stewart.Jimmy Doolittle,Glenn Ford,Howard Hughs,Curt Le May,Bob Tayler and the like flew it to the little fields for a hamburger.
What celebrities?

For me, someone worthy of being a celebrity is a person of integrity, whether they are famous or not. It's hard not to like Clint Eastwood or Mel Gibson, buy they are just actors, after all. There are thousands of men who live lives that are commendable every day, but you never hear about them. That's true character, doing what's right when no one is watching. That's the kind of man I aim to be. Don't you? :-)

Since when did celebrities became actors anyways? Only in the 20th century did entertainers rise to the rank of famed citizentry.

I agree with HJK, we have tons of knife celebrities on the forum. That's all I care about. If I was crazy about the hollywood types I probably wouldn't be hanging out here on the forum. Bottom line, I'm very intrested in knives, and hang out with people who share that intrest. A fringe benefit of hanging out here is that cool knife makers hang out here too.

I also agree with HKJ. Ken Onion and Allen Elishewitz both post here. They are just two of many.

I could care less what any of the Baldwin brothers have to say. I think it's neat to read stuff from guys like Ken Onion, Sal Glesser, Elishewitz, etc. I read about those guys in knife magazines and can actually communicate with them here. They're the celebrities that interest me.

Thanks guys ,

How can I possably respond to such flattery. I'm honored to be held in such high esteem. I hope to be worthy one day. thank you again .

Aloha!!! Ken Onion

I enjoy hearing from knife celebrities. That includes makers, collectors, dealers, company representatives, FMA and knife combat experts and anyone else who has made a footprint in the knife world. There are more knife celebrities here on a regular basis than anyplace I know of.

Hey (don't you love that expression), we even have some really unique celebrities of our own. Consider Vampire Gerbil! On second thought maybe you shouldn't!

Knife shows are great, but they don't happen very often for me.

What more could a bunch of knifenuts ask?
