How come there are no celebrities on the forums??

Stallone is definetly a collector. I bought a knife from Gil Hibben called the "BAT" and he told me only 5 were made. He remembered that Stallone bought the Ebony-Ivory version and said I should call him. I laughed and said ya right but made the call. Got his agent and relayed the message about Gil's knife and that I had the Desert Ironwood version. A few days later I get a call and about fell out of my chair! You can't mistake that voice!

GI Jane was filmed here in Jax and I was on the set supplying knives for prop master Eric Bates. I left a catalog and told them that if anyone wanted to come buy after hours and we would let them all play with knives. Talked to Ridley Scott, Viggo Mortensen and several others. Demi and Bruce were in town the next day but plans to come by got screwed up.

I sent out a bunch of knives to the Seven Days and Six Nights set in Hawaii. Harrison Ford now has a Benchmade Mini-Reflex.

To bad they don't drop in and say hi

Sorry, Bill wouldnt be interested in
one of your knives...

If fact, Bill is very anti gun, and
that kind of stuff. (A truer
democrat if I've ever seen one).

How do I know this, well you will just
have to trust me on this one...

But if any maker is interested in doing a
group purchase by a number of Microsoft
employees, we have a fairly large
gun club here, and I can put you in touch
with the heads of the club.

The obvious solution to the problem of "no celebs" is for some of us to *become* celebs!

I don't think this lawsuit I've got cooking will do it for me, not unless the Sheriff tries to shoot me following the verdict

Brethren and Cistern, why do you idolize mere actors and singers? What is this world coming to? Whatever happened to good old-fashioned idolization of great generals, noble rulers, brilliant scientists ... and charismatic cult leaders?

We used to have God as a member of this forum, but He only made a few posts and we haven't heard from Him for a long time. Has no one even told you? They say that God is dead!

But, we still have our own charismatic cult leader available to idolize! Yes, we have a crazed mystic among us who not only sits in a meditation chamber of kydex to commune with the Knife Gods, he even talks to a cistern -- some say he only does it to listen to the echoes, but those are mere scoffers; they wouldn't know a genuine crazed mystic if one bit them -- he does talk to a cistern, no one denies that -- what more could you ask for qualifications to lead a cult of lunatic knife knuts?

Being known to many men and women across the earth is a kind of celebrity, but what is that to the celebrity of being known to the Knife Gods and even to the Wholly Cistern itself?

-an appeal from The Wholly Brotherhood and Cisternity of Voracious Truth for more general idolization of our temporarily caffeine-crazed leader, Wholly Brother Cougar

We idolize him -- why don't you?

Celebrities?!? Heck, who needs celebrities, when you have VG?!?

Haven't you seen the GLAMOUR SHOTS?

Oh, the humanity...

A point I need to make out of fairness: Ghostsix has been *very* supportive of my lawsuit, public and private. Therefore, his words didn't constitute a "threat" to me, I realized that immediately.

Whether those words were worth saying or not is a seperate question I'll leave to Mike and Spark.

Bye Ghostsix... Your banned.
I hope that's a joke. Or did I miss something?

Who needs celebrities?
We have knives, we have knifemakers and heck, we have each other.
I don't want to hear from some schmoe who makes an astronomical amount of money for a little "work" but has no other real life experience. I want to hear from the been theres and done thats....like Snickersnee for example or Cougar. Give me the Chris Reeves and the Sal Glessers any day.

Hey!

Does this qualify as celebrity status? I just found out there is a pic of me in the December issue of Gun World magazine.

I'm on the top of page 74 doing a very, very, very stupid move. In the discription the term "dummy" is used also, so it's pretty accurate

I'll be selling autographs from my home, just send your most cherished knives and I'll autograph an issue for ya

Guns will work too!

Hey, let's all make a movie in which we can all fight with our knives...alright, that's stupid.
