How did you guys finish the knot on izula wrap?

question fellas. does anyone have better details/pics on how the knot is finished in this pic off the esee website?

i used a large needle and ran the tag ends through the wrap about half way back up the handle, pulled tight and cut with a razor.

i wanted to wrap and tie it exactly whats written on the esee instructions and i did so in the wrap (got the number of wraps etc. etc.) but not so much in the finishing knot. just anal like that :jerkit:

Does the wrap stay tight and together if you tuck the ends of the paracord after wrapping then melt the two ends?

i used a leather thong, it's been on tight since i think february. i've seen para cord done a similar way, though.

Thats odd...i thought i had already posted in here a few months back, but i guess i got sidetracked. I finished mine with a two strand crown/lanyard knot. It was an incredible pain in the butt, but i think it turned out pretty good. The thick knot gives my pinky something to hold on to when im cutting. I was talking to Brokeassp on another site earlier today and he pointed out that the only way you can do it like this is if the paracord comes out on opposite sides of the tang. I never noticed that before but he was right, so this might not work for some people who do the regular wrapping style. Ill try and take better pics of it later if anyone wants them.
