How do you carry all your stuff?

it can't possibly be a purse, because it doesn't match my shoes! :D

Good one -- I'll have to remember that -- but what if I'm wearing black shoes? Maybe I should get an olive green messenger bag; I never wear olive green shoes....

Ease up off the Coug dude. If you've been here since '01 you should know better than that. ;)

Actually I been here since the begining but lost my first user id :(
I know I should, but it just tripped my trigger especially since I notice buzzbait's thread getting moved as well. Cougar did have a good point thought he could have moved it to the political forum.

I'll have to check into limiting my results! Still I haven't found a lot threads about how to carry everything you EDC that aren't talking about umm "man bags" :D

I wear Carhartt Tool Pants.

Left Side Cargo: bandana
Front Left Pocket: keys w/Peak AAA 3 LED, Marbles Compass, glow ring.
Front Right Pocket: Longbow Micra w/glow ring
Left Large Tool Pocket: Sturdy plastic glasses case with clip-ons, cleaning cloth and small spray bottle of cleaner
Left Small Tool Pocket: Zeiss Miniquick Monocular
Belt: Leatherman XT (w/Space Pen and Pocket Wrench sharing pouch), Cell Phone

If carrying, flashlight goes in Left Cargo, .380 Keltec in Right Front.

Yeah, if ya don't want to drag around man bags or tote a bat belt then just choose your wardrobe more carefully. Everyone makes pants with extra pockets now, even in wool pinstripe suitable for wear with jacket and tie. Carhart pants are excellent and will carry lots of stuff and not look all bulged out. Companies like exofficio make clothing designed to look normal in everyday environments but hold up to extreme use and carry lots of stuff subtley. Trying to carry a serious set of edc tools in a pair of four pocket jeans without looking like you have multiple tumors is hard but there are lots of options out there and hey maybe you just need to carry less stuff. Oh my god did I just say that, sorry and please disregard.

WHAT!!!! LESS Stuff!

got a chuckle at that multipule tummers remark, and some weird looks from the office folks as i was giggling at my PC. :D

Truthfully this thread has helped a lot. I seem to be able to get away with wearing my cell and Arc4 next to eachother as long as the Arc is behind the phone so it can't press the bottons on the side of the phone. The seats in my wife's car make the Arc press into the phone a little, but whatever. The leatherman fits nicly into my coin/watch pocket, but it digs me a litlle when I sit down and make access to the knife below a little hard so I think I'm going to hang it in my front left pocket with a carabiner and a quick disconect. My Key will either ride in the bottom of that same pocket on on the carabiner or in a coat pocket. Hmm what am I forgeting. Wallet right front pocket and pen goes next to the knife front right pocket.

So what are your reactions? And don't take this as a signal to stop posting your setups as I'm sure other thread subcribers are enjoing this as much as I am.

Maximus -

Outta all the things I considerd, a sporran wans't one of them.

All my Scots progenators are spinnin in their graves.

If your dress code permits so, then by all means try a vest of some sort! Not only will it have enough pockets to tote most your stuff. But it will make all the gear on your belt discreet (out of site). Especially if its a G36 with a spare mag!

It doesn' t need to be a photojournalist type. There are some wool western models such as Woolrich, forager/ travel type by Columbia Sports wear, reversible "Treker" vests offered by campmor mail order, even heavy duty duck canvas types from Carhartt. Some have more pockets than others. Do a little research for one that will fill your needs.

Give running a shot with any sort of knife in that watch pocket...

On the ground in a couple strides! :D

Could be that I need some larger jeans... but I doubt it, these arent worn out yet! Or maybe its a diet thats needed! :footinmou
