How do you carry most obscurely?

For me, I just slip it in the front pocket and the cell phone sit in front of it. The phone is an HTC Rezound, to the screen size is as large as the sheath.

I don't really have to worry much about concealing, but I've found that the 11 and 14 practically disappear in any pocket. In cargo pants, you'll never get noticed.

This is usually how i carry mine as well.

Wow, that is pretty confusing. They use 'pocketknife" like they expect everyone to carry a Swiss Army knife.

I have no frickin clue how to figure out Arizona knife laws, so I only carry my 11 when I'm out in the desert/woods and make no effort to hide it. Scout carry, strong hand, up against my belt buckle in one of Nick's great sheaths.

At work I carry a slipjoint with a P7 clip attached to the bail so it hangs vertically. It doesn't print in any meaningful way and since I carry a pen clipped right next to it anyway, there's not much to announce its presence. During the workday I wear slim fit clothes so an 11/14 in a KA-BAR sheath would print like crazy if I put it in a pocket or wore it around my neck. Tucked in shirts make IWB impossible to disguise as well. Plus nobody here would 'get' someone carrying an FB anyway. Even a slipjoint makes people stare.

Silly, Arizona HAS no knife laws. Carry what you want, legally.

By the way, a BIG thanks to Mr. Doug Ritter for his continued fight for knife rights and his battle against those who seek to demonize knives as dangerous weapons!

In TN you can buy M-4's at the supermarket!
Not true. You do actually have to go to a gas station to get an m4 last time I was down there. :D
In my state, there are no blade length or folder vs. fixed laws, and cities/counties can't change it. (I love my state)
I can legally use a 20" machete in Wallyworld to cut a thread from my shirt, as long as it wasn't concealed.
In conclusion, I don't have to be discreet, and I don't care about the sheeple. I carry my 11 in the front right pocket because of convenience.

Around the neck with a dark colored cord and a jacket on has been the setup that has proved to be most discreet for me.

"Live"? I own the place! ;)

Seriously though, a cop I know told me it was illegal...

Hamburg-Schanzenviertel is a no-knife zone. So it's illegal to carry even a tiny slipjoint there. Everywhere else though... fixed up to 12cm blade, concealed unconcealed doesn't matter. Most cops have no idea what the laws on knives are like, I carry a printout of the law text in my backpack just in case...

Ta-da. Comfortable pocket carry.

You know what Ive never seen? what a ksf pocket sheat looks like in an actual pocket. It seems like it would be bulky as hell and would poke you in the lower back and hurt your ass if you put it in a back pocket.

You mean like ^that^ one?

where I live up to 3" (tip to front of handle) is legal to carry concealed.
In cooler seasons I'm almost always wearing a fleece or something, and I simply belt carry.
What I learned shooting IDPA is that you can conceal a whole lot under a photographer's vest, but now I look askance at anybody wearing one! :D

I've got a kydex sheath on order so I can carry my Bk-11 horizontally on my belt, strong side and just to the right of my belt buckle.

I've carried knives as big as the Spyderco Perrin Street Bowie and the Kasper-Polkowski Companion that way, both strong side and crossdraw, with total concealment.

I find that the Ka-Bar TDI is a good way to carry without it being too noticeable. I have the smaller, straight edge version and it is really cool. It's also easy to manage when you need to use it, for whatever reason. It's ALSO not too intimidating if you just need to open something up or cut something.

I'm telling you man a gel pen prints on my pants... a revolver in a holster might actually stick out further than my manparts. I gotta get some baggier pants!

I put a Nite Ize EClips on my BK11 sheath and carry inside my waistband at the 1 o'clock position.
