  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How do you carry most obscurely?

Hamburg-Schanzenviertel is a no-knife zone. So it's illegal to carry even a tiny slipjoint there. Everywhere else though... fixed up to 12cm blade, concealed unconcealed doesn't matter. Most cops have no idea what the laws on knives are like, I carry a printout of the law text in my backpack just in case...
Bro, I live in Hamburg so I know the Schanzenviertel pretty well! ;)

Can you post a link to that knife law please, would be greatly appreciated!

I'm telling you man a gel pen prints on my pants... a revolver in a holster might actually stick out further than my manparts. I gotta get some baggier pants!

Or bigger manparts.

I'm curious what you actually do for a living that puts you in such stretchies, but it's more fun to speculate. :D

I took the cord it came with and braided it through the holes in the kydex sheath and carry it on my belt. I'm on my phone right now but in my first thread I have a picture.

NO KNIFE ZONE! What about scissors or whatnot, are they crazzy?!

BK-14 hung over one shoulder and under my arm. It tends to slide toward my chest sometimes, but it's manageable. I like this better than neck carry because it doesn't show as much when I bend over and it stays in place a little better.

I carry my 14 around my neck under my shirt but the trick is to wear a shirt that has pattern with good contrast. Works like a charm really breakes up the outline of the knife behind the shirt.

Definitely stay away from bright color cord around the neck
I was in town the other day and two people asked if I was carrying a knife on my neck
I switched the cord from safety orange to black
Hopefully I won't be caught again!

Typical protectionist politicians. Chicago here in the US is almost like that now, only a 2" blade that folds into whatever size handle, no A/O, autos, balis, fixed, anything that can be opened with centrifugal force or springs basically.
Won't be too surprised if they outlaw glass bottles and mugs in bars and hot pizza.
Man, I love Kentucky. I think I'll use my BK7 as an EDC for tomorrow.

Nick hooked me up with this sweet sheath for neck carry. I use black paracord for the neck instead, but it's pretty slick.

I'm curious; how is it holding up with retention? I should make a few more like that some day. :)

It's alright, I'm having a dilemma because my 11 now has scales on it that are not as flat. So I don't know if I want to switch to my 14 or something. I don't edc it anymore so I'll have to play with it some more and let you know.

MN is pretty decent for knives. I actually got a head nod of approval from a mounted cop when he saw my ka-bar tdi(the big one) on my belt. I was doing security in a rough area, and the cops there are pretty cool. I've never had anyone say anything, and its not like I make an effort to hide them. When I feel like being discrete I IWB.

You know what Ive never seen? what a ksf pocket sheat looks like in an actual pocket. It seems like it would be bulky as hell and would poke you in the lower back and hurt your ass if you put it in a back pocket.

I wear it in my front pocket and it never seems to poke me anywhere. I was skeptical until I tried it.

While this is the law, the cops in Chicago never hassled me about any thing I carried. What was a regular on my belt was my Spyderco Police or CRKT M16-14ZSF.
However I was riding the train through the west side at 2200 and walking to work downtown. Most of the cops were more curious about what I was carrying and where they could get one.

that's nice. Good to know that the cops are on your side.
Like I said, I don't have to worry about it, and I have actually had a cop ask to use my knife, he had lost his.
