How do you carry your Folder.

SAK or Kiwi loose, either back or left pocket.

Opinel, left pocket loose.

Mili, left pocket tip down

Gayle Bradley, same.

When out running, walking or hiking, they go IWB or occasionally in the bag.

There's usually (read: nearly always) a 707 IWB @ 1 o'clock diagonally through a belt loop.
Then there's something larger (710, Alias I) clipped to my right pocket or (in the city) IWB @ 8-9 - also through a belt loop.
That way it's always at the same place and i find it easier to clip it IWB if its fixated by the belt runnung through that loop nearby...

CRK Umnumzaan in leather sheath in my RF pocket, Victorinox Climber in my RR pocket alongside my wallet.

The nice thing about the CRK sheath is that the leather conforms to the shape of the knife - I do keep the clip on the knife and the leather keeps it from wearing my pockets out from the inside.

When u carry ur knives do u have some of the knife exposed or is it totally concealed in the pocket...? anyone anyone...

Front right pocket. Either clipped or a slip in. If belt worn it is right side towards my ass.

zt301 front right, Emerson a100 back right pocket, since its been cold out the Emerson has been ridein up front in my right pocket of my jacket

Depends what I am carrying and what I am doing. On weekends, my Delica clipped to my RFP and squirt on my keyring. On weekdays Delica in RFP and Standard Issue in LFP. Occasionally I carry a Buck Vantage clipped to my shirt pocket, the deep carry clip looks like a pen clip.

I carry my favorite folder (currently the Emerson A-100) in my right front pocket against the seam. If I'm on duty, then it goes on the right side cargo pocket against the rear seam because my duty holster prevents me from using the right front pocket.

I also always carry a Victorinox Classic at the bottom of either front pocket. Always good to hav scissors, file, flat head screwdriver, pic, and tweezers all in one little package :)

As for one of the other questions, I carry tip up/down depending on the knife and my mood. The majority of my folders are tip up carry (meaning the tip is pointing up when clipped to your pocket). I like tip up for the handle position that I have when I pull it out of my pocket, it also makes me "feel" better knowing the blade won't accidentally open with the spine against the seam of my pocket (whereas tip down would have the blade open towards your you know what ).

For those that carry tip up- what's the benefit/logic?

edit: of course, assuming the knife gives you the option or the fact that the clip orients it that way was one of your preferences for choosing the knife

I dun like tip up.
Pulled out my mini-grip while sitting, and almost stabbed myself. I did actually poke myself...
