How do you carry your traditionals?

Right front pocket with nothing else. Still waiting to lose one. (Other than a vic classic that fell out of my car about 20 years ago. I head it hit the pavement and could not find it for anything.) :D.

Left front pocket for most patterns, larger lockbacks go in the tool pocket of my Carhartts. I have a couple of leather slips, but I find they add a step in the process I don't really need- so I don't use them all that much. I wear double front loggers and they have pretty deep pockets, so I don't worry about my knives fallin' out.

I just carry my traditonal folders loose in my front pocket however around here open top leather belt sheaths for larger slipjoints are all the rage.

Case Medium Sotckman rides in the coin pocket of jeans, or in the left calf pocket of my ACu's while at work.

one more time, fifth actually...300

I have a couple of knives that act like they might like to make an escape. I carry them in a leather slip pouch and haven't had any problems. Most of the time I just carry the knife loose in my pocket, except for bigger knives, which I carry in a sheath.

Another one with my knife sharing pocket space with a bandanna/handkerchief. Left front pocket usually, keys are in the right and I'm not having my knife scratched up! :D That's both jeans (weekends) and khakis (work week). On weekends I usually have a Peanut or similar small slipjoint in the watch pocket too.

I miss a watch pocket on khakis but I know that isn't "traditional".

Been carrying my GECs this way for a couple of years. Haven't lost one yet. (knock on wood)

Where do you find these leather pouches? Maybe I'm not using the right search words in google, but I can't seem to find them on the 'net.

I thought about keeping it together with a small flashlight and lip balm held together in a ranger band. Seems like it would work rather well

KSF make em, Scagel knives come with them quite often I believe...I use one with my GEC BF knife and push a knot on the lanyard under and over the rim over my belt which works great.

As with everyone else...front right pocket my friend, in fact there are the very odd day when Im in such a rsch...I will be driving down the road...OH NO!!...forgot my edc!...so I reach over and grab my Camillus that sits in my consul :D:thumbup:

I have a problem with mine falling out of my pocket sometimes if i sit down.

It might help you to know that President Johnson had the same problem. Assuming you're not going to order custom-made pants like LBJ did, I'd go with Carl's patented method of carrying a bandana in the pocket too.

Me, I just carry my knife in my front/right pocket with my coins and keys, etc. Left/front pocket gets small wallet and phone. This changes up a bit in the winter, when I have jacket and/or vest pockets available too. But 99 times out of 100, you'll find my knife in my right-front pocket, no matter what I'm wearing.

The peanut always travels in my right front pocket and either the wharncliffe jack, gunstock lockback or dogleg trapper goes in the right back pocket. The knife in the back pocket is unnoticable either sitting, standing or walking and I've never had a problem with losing a knife.
