• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

How do you carry your traditionals?

Small slip joint in left front pocket. Larger slipjoint or 1HO in right front if I'm carrying one too.

I've been meaning to get around to the hanky thing. My dad used to carry a hanky. But it was kind of disgusting, blowing our noses into it, and him putting it back into his pocket. :) I guess they're more for wiping noses than blowing.

What I do is try to carry a big enough knife that I will either hear it hit when it falls out, or I'll miss the slight lump if it goes in a couch cushion. After many years of carrying pocket knives, I always kind of have in mind to check my pocket when I get up from a chair that tends to eat knives. ;)

If the knife is too large to ride safely in my change pocket (when I have one), I use a clip case, but only because I hate having a knife lying horizontally at the bottom of my pocket.

Sometimes wonder if it's the knives carrying me through life's rougher sides:D

Generally, lighter knives get trousered, the heavier ones go in the coat pocket. Don't like back pocket carry at all.

Another aspect of carrying Traditionals rather than certain Moderns is that Trad knives are SAFER to carry. They don't start opening themself inside your pocket which could happen with certain types of liner lock moderns, not a good vibe:eek::eek:
