How do you display your traditionals?

I very seldom display my knives because I store them in dark drawers to maintain the cover colors , but when I do , I have a few racks .

Loving seeing how people store their collections. I’ve basically got two drawers in my stereo cabinet/console to store mine. Space is at a premium here in Brooklyn, since our place is about 500 square feet.

The missus is out ot town this weekend, so I’ve been doing some collection maintenance. I‘ve been struggling with how to store/display in drawers, but remembered how my old man used to store his incredible arrowhead collection in felt lined glass topped frames. Found a place on Amazon that sold them and they are made here in the US.

First, I made some lanyards for my naked GECs.



Then I put all my Case knives in one of the felt lined frames in my GEC drawer.


And then I used the other frame for my miscellaneous pocket knifes. Apologies for the two CRK knives. They are my only modern knives.


Feels pretty good to tame the drawers a bit.

I found this at the local hardware yesterday. It's a parts bin, with moveable/removeable dividers. The sections were square, but I removed the horizontal dividers. It doesn't hold all my traditional knives, but there's plenty of room for the ones that I use most. And they're stackable.

Neat toolboxes! I always wanted something like that. I'd put some soft material at the bottom to protect knives from scratches, a cloth maybe.

Wow, I'm going to have to stop by my Lowes and see if they have that. That size box would have lots of uses.

I have a section of the top of the entertainment center that is for knives I want to mess with. I have a small dish that I made for the pocket knives I want to have handy.

I will often have 1 in the reloading room.

I made this box to gift a knife to my late mom. She loved the box and knife, and now it resides on my entertainment center.

I have a small cookie tin that I keep most of my folders in, handy, but not exactly displayed.

I made this gravity display stand, but never warmed up to it. Made for a cool picture though.
