People can justify spending $40,000 on a truck, $1500 on a gun, have a house full of useless knick-nacks and beanie babies but won't put down more than $20 for a knife.
One rolex can be handed down for generations, can't say that for sieko.the same is true for your knife.
My question is, how do you explain it to someone who isnt into knives like we are?
Wearing a Seiko is still WAY cheaper - I can buy a new Seiko every few years for a fraction of the price of routine servicing for a Rolex. I have a Seiko that still works fine that I bought over 2 decades ago, nothing spent on it except a new battery every 7 years or so.
A knife is different - it can last for decades with no cost above an occasional wipe with oil and an occasional sharpen.
I spend most of my money on guns, knives, babes, and booze. The rest of it I just waste.
like deniro said "this is this". A seiko will only lose money.recently there was a rolex that was bought in the 60s (don't quote me on that) for $70, it sold the other day in 'good' condition for $61,000.
