How do you make a great knife even better?

I don't have any SAK with broken scales (and I don't want to get one just to mess with it) but now that I got myself a Dremel I will probably tackle a proyect I had in mind from a long time ago. Getting a Opinel, disasembling it and fitting the blade in some micarta handles.
