Hi.

I've never traded, sold, or even bought on a forum before.

USPS MO.

What is this, and how does it work?

I've saved up lil money to get a user.

and I see many of goods on FS section.

some one help me please.

USPS MO is a United States Postal Service money order. You go to the post office and give them money, and they give you a money order which is essentially a check. You send it to the seller, and they deposit it in their checking account. Got it? :)

Thanks for all the words. I realised that this is very reliable forum, and I will continue to ask many questions !! haha
It helped ALOT. haha

One of the cool things about a (US) Postal Money Order is that they can be cashed at most (if not all) Post Offices.

Can they be obtained electronically, on line? Reason I ask is that as an EU member many US members won't accept Paypal and will only take MO.

I always take mine to a PO, so they can be verified on the spot. There is a small risk of a fake or stolen MO; so if you cash at your bank, and it turns out to be a bad one, you will have already shipped the knife before the bank dings you for the money back.

Having said that, the PO may not have enough cash on hand to pay you, especially if you go first thing in the morning.

The P.O. can tell you if it is a legit money order, even if they don't have enough cash on hand. I've heard of people who will use a recently received USPS money order to purchase a new money order in the same (minus costs) amount, then take the new money order to deposit in their own bank. One is then pretty much guaranteed to be depositing a good USPS money order.
all da best,
rats...
