How I ended up with a safe queen

I would put the Clone in the safe and one day you can look back on it as lesson learned. Use the PT. Strider doesn't make any knives nice enough to be safe queens.

Moss FTW!!

WHY did you have to ask that??????

Because THIS is a political forum...and NOT a knife forum! According to some...

And YES, please deep-six the copy.

Politics aside, Striders aren't worth the ridiculous price tag that goes with them. You could have a better knife hand made to your specs, with much tighter tolerances, for the same price or cheaper.

Not to mention the hoops you need to jump thru in order to get warranty repair.
Evidently it is so complex that there are YT video's to help you.

I've never understood safe queens. Personally, I don't keep a knife if I'm not going to use it. Give the clone away and use the Strider.

It's like buying a new car to let it sit in your garage.

If you need to find a sucker to unload the KJ on, I am always accepting donations! I would say just use the Strider, though. As much as there is bad associated with Strider, their warranty is pretty good.

You've had one?

I thought I made it pretty clear I wouldn't waste my money on them. I did handle one before I found out what type of person Mick Burger is and I couldn't believe what they were trying to charge for it. The blade was off center and the lock up was scary sloppy. I figured maybe that was just a really bad example until I got home, did a search, and found all the complaints about lock rock and the lock disengaging. I have a 30 dollar Buck 110 that had better fit and finish than that knife.

So, you're handing out advice on a knife you've never owned and basically have zero experience with, but you did read some bad stuff on the internet. Going on someone's thread and calling their knife overpriced. Nice

So you're saying I should have bought a way overpriced knife, that I found several problems with while handling, and through my purchase give money to a lying scumbag that I have an ethical problem supporting, just so I can comment on a knife?

If you picked up some cheap gas station knife and found you could push on the blade to disengage the liner lock would you need to buy it first in order to tell it was a bad knife?
