how i wasted my sunday....

Nice work on the CS American Lawman btw:thumbup:

thx, still a work in progress.

ill keep polishing everything until the finish is even, but its a good start.

excuse me while i go make a french bread pizza.

Threw some steaks & chicken on the grill, sharpened a Gayle Bradley and some badly abused kitchen knives, and played some Battlefield BC2 on PC. Did you EdgePro that edge M?

yep, polished on the edge pro.

but i am going to have to reprofile. its at about 25 degrees inclusive, and too delicate. i rolled the edge on a peice of plywood.

i matched one of the edges, then reprofiled the other to match. but its a bit too thin now. ill probably try and get it to about 30.

I went to an Indians game today with my girl and my family. It was my dad's company outing, so I got a baseball painted on my forearm, had a family caricature drawn, and sweated a lot. Then went back to her house, watched Marley and Me, and I cried at the ending. Wow that movie was emotional. :( During the funny parts I practiced flipping open my Rajah III, so at least I got something productive done. :p

I got fairly late because i was up late last night watching the UFC and yesterday i also went fishing and discovered that my favorite rod/ reel had broken. So i left it for too day. I never found out exactly what was wrong, but i got it working and super glued some loose pieces in place and now it works perfectly. I also used my Spyderco Pacific Salt to cut some extra line left over from some knots.

After fixing my reel i played some UFC Undisputed 2010 and went to the gym for a couple hours.

It was a really laid back sunday for me.

How'd the edges go?

Eh, it went okay. I have horrible pic quality:

MORIMOTOM, what stripper did you use? when I did my AL the stripper I had didn't even effect it. Also mine was stone washed under the coating, was yours?

Nice job BTW

CM, perfect tat!

What did I do today? I'm working :(

i used spray on clean strip. i had to let it soak overnight, but then it came right off.

yes, it was stonewashed underneath.

so, what did you guys do?

I removed a considerable amount of ZDP-189 stock that was just taking up space around my edge. It cuts a little better now.

I did not realize it until after the photo, but I accidentally gave George a trim in that second picture.

After two straight days on the river baking in the sun for a good cause (wounded warriors) Went out to breakfast with my family and spent the rest of the day cleaning my Marlin, and putting the mini keg to good use. Should have polished some edges though, musta been something in the air. :)

Surfed my brains out on Saturday. Sunday, spent most of the day laying around the house and napping while it stormed outside. All in all, a good weekend.
