I traded for a Kershaw Chive. Well I got it and love it but the spring assisted didn't work. No big deal I'll adjust the spring and she'll work perfect. Not exactly! The spring has to be adjusted basically all the way out for it to work properly. Will Kershaw fix this or what? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I have a Leek in for repairs right now. Customer service was great up front, we'll see how it comes back.

Give Kershaw CS a call and tell them that the spring broke. They will send you a new one. Easy to change out only using a torx.

What spring? how did you adjust the torsion bar?

Yes, the torsion bar is not adjustable. However sometimes just taking it all apart and a good cleaning can make the action better. Sometime pocket crud builds up all around the spring.

You know how you can tighten and loosen the torx screw to make it spring assisted or not. Well thats what I did and it has to be almost falling out of the knife before it will act speed safe. Spring was just what I called it. :foot:
