How is the hunting going???

We did pretty good on Lanai which is an island in Hawaii off of Maui where we are staying. Took the ferry over Thursday morning and hunted Friday. It started out slow but my brother got a Mouflon Ram and about 5 minutes later I got a Mouflon Ram. Here's his which he used an AR chambered in 6.8 SPC



Here's the one I took with my uncles AR chambered in .260, it was the first time either one of us had got one.





Then about an hour later I took this doe with my 45-70, hit her right in the back of the neck





We ended up with four Mouflon three of them Rams, I didn't get pics of those since I was on another part of the island. We took the ferry back to Maui Saturday morning then went on a pig hunt today. We got one that my brother stuck

If the weather holds we're going back out Tuesday to hopefully get me one.

I've never seen a cinnamon in my part of Texas. I have heard stories of them shot but very rarely. My dad told me of one he shot one time and when they got back to the truck everyone wanted to see it so they started putting birds on the tailgate. He took the cinnamon out of a vest he was wearing and the damn bird popped up and flew off. Said all he could do was laugh. One day I'll get one hopefully!

Every hunting season my dads friend comes up stays in our trailer with his dad and his son (My best friend) They left this year with the back of thier truck looking like this

Last day of duck season yesterday in northern Michigan. Not as productive of a season as I had hoped but got these 2 on the last jump.

kinda weird experience this year.. so I'm up in my favorite tree stand an I wax this deer slowly making its way from behind a tree..I'm all excited on my way down to claim my kill when I notice the dang thing was hooked to like 8 other deer that were leashed up to some big sled..some hunting sled I guess... no matter.. so I'm un hooking my deer when some big fat hunter wearing red comes running out..crying. I told him "chill man, I put the poor thing out of its misery.. look at its nose, all puffed up and red".. you should have seen it man I mean you could even say it glowed.. anyway, I felt bad for the guy butt I had to jam an get back..... i have a Christmas list to send..
