How Long and Thick is ENOUGH?????

This is about the smallest I'd Go. 2.75" Blade 1/8" Stock

Age old question that has always had the same answer, It it not what you have but, what you can do with it. Equipment, while important, means nothing without common sense and know how. For me, yes a Mora will do, I have used them for everything for many years.
 
Were it to be the only tool I could have, I would take a 6"-9" at 3/16 to 1/4. A Vic Champion XLT is on my belt every day and a NWA Scout is in my bag. I also carry a GB Mini, and a saw. Accompanied by other tools - 4" and 3/16 works for me. Construction, steel, handle material, proper heat treatment, and edge are also factors I evaluate.
 
Thanks Buddy!! That Companion I have managed to hang onto for about 18 months :)

Dont think I can let it go as even though its not my favorite its my "Do All" and still be light in the step so to speak knife.

I too enjoy seeing how small of a package I can make yet be useful for EVERYTHING!!!

It wont chop like a chopper but in a camp/outdoor situation it will do what ya need :)
