How long do you have to wait for a custom blade before you qualify as an idiot?

Oz said "At this point, I still want the blades. My fear the entire time, and one of the reasons that I've been so patient, is that he may not have been happy in the original deal, since I think I came out ahead in it. "

Oz, I recently paid $600 for an item that is worth about half that. I got it from someone I trusted so much I didn't even ask for a picture before I paid for it. Well, I made the deal and I'm stuck with it. Same with your knifemaker in my book. Just because he doesn't like the deal now doesn't give him the right to cancel it.

one thing you never mentioned in the beginning is that he has already fulfilled part of his part of the bargain....it certainly doesnt excuse him, but it shows me he isnt trying to screw you....hes just really slow and very bad at fulfilling his promises......I really think, especially since you say he has a website, that you should email him this link.....tell him unless you get a firm promise of delivery OR your money back...you are going to make him look pretty stupid on Bladeforums.. my opinion of course. and its not me, its Jerry, but I didnt want to be the one to tell (thats a joke for all of you who cant figure it out!!)

I think the idea of sending this link to the maker is a good one - both for him to understand there are many people out there looking at him, and also to create the feeling among other makers that this group - the BF members - is not to be fuc*k*ed with.

This can give this community a whole new powerful meaning...

power to the memebers...
