Yes, it took a few days for him to ship the knife but I did get it. I initially offered to buy the knife as a way to help him out. I gave him the option to buy it back up to three months afterwards should he recover financially. I haven’t heard anything back yet but there is still a month or so left on my original offer.

Oh I'm here. Funny thing is dude is quick to engage is defamation yet has zero concern with what other may be going through especially here in liberal run California. Whatever. His knives have been shipped through UPS as well as the other couple customers that have patiently waited with me through this as they are in California as well and know how hard we've been hit here. If others don't want to believe about how badly our governor has screwed us in this state...come on over here and experience it for yourself. I have never once in my entire life screwed anyone over. On top of that he wants to comment saying that I was browsing the for sale threads...my browser was automatically sent to that page when I clicked my bookmarks to come back to this forum, immediately after coming back I was engaged in conversation. Do with it as you will.

In regards to my attorney, my attorney has always been on retainer from my injury case. We can play that game however PayPal has already been contacted by them and any late fees associated with my bills will be redeemed. Oh well, I'm sorry we live in a time where when something goes wrong in society and someone has their hands tied the other party whines because they haven't gotten what they want immediately eventhough it is out of the other person's hand. I explained to everyone exactly what was going on and all but the particular person knows the exact situation from experience with this Covid lie we are all living through and not a one of them aside from this particular individual has had a problem. Maybe watch the news and learn about how bad California is before you start badmouthing and defaming a person.

Immediately? Waiting more than a month is immediately? Sounds like he was more than patient even after the promised ship dates passed.


You even shipped other stuff out in the time he was waiting.

Communication is key and it looks like you failed at that and got yourself into this pickle.


Ps. Any late fees you incur from your bills are your own problems.
 
I shipped out one knife before this deal was done before our town got locked down so that point is moot.

Actually, the late fees were paid by PayPal at request by my attorney due to his locking of my account. Otherwise he would be responsible. Thanks for your concern though.

I'm not in a pickle nor do I even give rats behind.

By everything posted, it looks to have been done earlyish March. You completed a deal March 23rd and that guy received his item.


No. You are responsible for you bills and the late fees you incur.
 
I'm in California, not far from you at all and I've had no problems shipping items during the "lockdown"...both using Click n' Ship, and physically mailing from the PO for international. What restrictions exactly prohibited you from shipping?

Did the OP agree to this. His claim at this point seemed to be for the return of his money, so shipping now doesn't make much sense. Nor does it if you are claiming PP took the money , so you couldn't pay your bills-thus the late fees.
At best you have had very poor communication, but it seems there is more to it.

None of this however, has stopped me from shipping the knives I've listed here, nor the half dozen member's I've purchased from!

Haha y'all make me laugh. Anyway, according to our messages through PayPal Andrew Welsh agreed to have them shipped today which is on record with PayPal as well therefore that is what is happening.

And let me guess, those of you who were able to still ship in California live in a town much larger than 200 and has a Post office of more than one person right? I don't, I live in a tiny little town up on the outskirts of Sierra County. So, before you start blaming me for things and saying I'm full of it do some talking with the other person first instead of just following like a bunch of sheeple.

From a quick search, there are 14 public drop boxes in Grass Valley where you could have easily dropped the package after printing a label at home.
 
I'm sorry for all your hardships RobertJ1 RobertJ1 . However, spending money that was not yours was all on you. You can try to justify it all you want. If you couldn't ship because of current events then you should have told the buyer (you know, the guy that gave you the money that you spent) and offered a refund if he wasn't ok with waiting (which, obviously he wasn't).

Spewing excuses left and right and pointing the finger when you are obviously at fault is no way of conducting business.
 
I'm not in Grass Valley. GV is the closest named town to where I am. Washington, CA that's my town. The money is in my account, bills were paid therefore money was mine. Knives are his and weren't going anywhere but to him. Deal done.

As I said, I don't give a rats behind about any of this anyway. He's a whiner and can't deal with the fact that shite happens when liberal governments shut your crap down over something that doesn't exist. Oh well lol.

False. A deal is not done until both parties have their end.

The deal was still pending while you had both the money and the items.

You keep calling him a whiner when he waited more than a month to reach out and see what's up with the shipping. That sounds like the opposite of a whiner to me.
