Looking forward to this movie coming out this weekend. There are a lot of "war" movies out there, but only a few have I actually wanted to Buy on DVD after I saw them for future viewing. My first ones I watched back in high school that movivated me to join up in 82 were Sands of Iwo Jima, John wayne in the Green Berets, and of coarse Apocalypse Now. My last two favorites that I actually bought to use in my Military History class, were Blackhawk Down and We were Soldiers, "both based on true stories which makes them much more appealing to me. This looks like it will be a good one, especially with real operators in the movie. "wonder how that will effect their deployability with the faces on the movie screen?"
Don't supposed we'll see a Busse in this movie??? :) any thoughts?

Just today, I saw the trailer for this movie. Can't wait to see it. The whole shooting and work around the movie deifiantelly deserves buying the dvd.

But I will download it first ;)

I will have to wait on the DVD. Its too expensive to take the whole family. Although, this will be much better on the big screen, and probably not suitable for my little ones, so I may sneek off and catch a matinee before it leaves theaters.

Regardless, it looks like it could be an incredible movie.

Of course my ranger buddies and I are rolling to the first showing Friday night with a brown bag. Old skool style

These guys look like athletes, but with grenades and guns. Over time I've gotten very tired of the unrealistic fight scenes, stupid gun handling, and unreal use of knives, etc. from Hollywood. I can appreciate a good actor, but that doesn't mean they know how to handle a gun or actually be in a fight scene.

Anyway, HELL YES I'm going to see this movie! I asked my Brother if he wanted to go this weekend, he has to ask his Boss/Wife.

I also want to see Haywire, with Ewan McGregor and Gina Carano. She's a real fighter, and these previews look great. There's no edits in the fight scene on those previews.

Very much looking forward to seeing that one! I usually wait for movies to hit dvd but I'm seeing this one on the big screen.

I am a student at Texas A&M and they prescreened the movie here a week ago so I got to see the movie for free. It was pretty sweet. honestly it doesnt take much for me to like a action movie. But this one was amazing, the acting wasnt that great in the non action scenes (but honestly i didnt expect real navy seals to be good actors). There was alot of action but enough plot to tie it together and keep it interesting. I would recommend it an I will probably see it again in theaters and i will defiantly own it once it comes out on dvd.

If I am not working too late tomorrow night, I plan to go see it. Unfortunately, I gotta be at the airport at 7am Saturday, so if it gets too late I won't be seeing it until it hits Blu-Ray.

Waiting for the disk myself!!! Oh I want to see it but I have become a real fan of being able to pause the movie to do something else, you know get popcorn:p

Fox the movie is excellent. I seen a private screening 2 weeks ago. These guys look like regular guys. The scenes are regular techniques we've all seen on TV. No secrets were given away. LOL. Hopefully in the regular release you will get to see the clip from the producers/directors who talk about the movie. They did a scene having to deal with the nuclear submarine. The Navy gave coordinates and 4 hours to get there to film the scene with Sub. The Navy said if you make it you can film, if you don't make it you are SOL.

Very good movie. They actually changes magazines when they should, if you know what to look for you can see they know what they are doing "being a Seal Team member they should".
