How many blades do you carry?

most of the days consists of 2 blades from a jack or trapper. if im doing work, three to 4 blades for a leatherman accompanies my jack or stockman. when camping, hhhmmm, my jack (2) or a stockman (3), a leatherman (1), and a fix blade (1), id say 4 to 5 blades outdoors. just glad most those blades fit easily in my pocket and not hooked on my belt. id be armed to the teeth!

5+ blades in-pocket today:

  • Schrade 8OT stockman: 3 blades
  • Buck 424 'BUCKLITE' lockback: 1 blade
  • Leatherman Micra: 1 blade + scissors (if scissors even count :D)

1 or 2; Usually a reg cutter and something more SD oriented, Spyderco and Benchmade typically fill that role respectively.

2 on the same knife for EDC. When traveling or camping that can be upped to 3-4.

1-11 :)

There's 7 blades in just these two knives. There are two in the leatherman I carry sometimes, and I will occasionally throw a small balisong and a fixed blade in the pocket, too. I love having blade options!

It depends... on the mood I´m in. ;)

Some days I use to carry a four blade Böker Congress and a Peanut or something similar and the other day I decide to go out with an Opinel.

So for me 1 - 10 (I´d guess). But never without at least ONE :D :eagerness:

One or two (on the same knife), plus my Classic (although, honestly, I would easily make do without it and swap it for another tool).

I set off today with my Case Sodbuster Jnr (1) and my GEC #66 Serpentine Jack (2). Also had a Leatherman Micra (1) in my bag. Then I ended up buying a sheath knife (1) and a small folder (2) in the market.

Most days I have between 2 and 4 blades.

In my bumbag at the moment I have a 48 black micarta templar and TC Barlow in a leather belt pouch.I also had a blood red toothpick in there also but that was because I wanted to look at it.
No10 opinel in me pocket.
At work I will have a Leatherman Surge and S&W 1st responder as well.

1 folder normally
2 folders at work, sorry not allowed fixed
1 multi-tool, 1 fixed, (Sometimes 1 folder) when hiking

Forgot my trusty single blade Remington peanut, and my Gossman Kephart EDC. So, add two more blades to the mix.

For the last month, I've been getting all my mileage out of my GEC #15 Boys' Knife's single blade. Before that, a two-bladed knife whose size is anywhere from GEC #6 Pemberton/Case Peanut on up to Queen/Case Mini-Trapper size.

4 lately now, 2 on the Canoe, 1 Vic Rally, 1 small multi-tool on the keychain next to the Rally.

Only counting those relevant, 1-2 depending on what I have. I own no 3+ blade knives

3-5 when i can but I'm at college now and they're not allowed so i left them at home. Luckily i live 20 mins away so whatever. I usually carry an esee4, spyderco delica and a sak or leatherman
