How many do you carry?

A 'Wedge II' (Outdoor Edge) as a neck knife.
An 'EZ Out' - ATS34 (Gerber) clipped in my right front pocket.
A 'Cliphanger' (Schrade) w/o the hanger deep in my left pocket.
A Swiss Tool (Victorinox) on my belt on my right hip.

Of course, this scant list is lengthened considerably when I go outside the house!

!!

When my loving wife says, "Why do you need to carry so many," I respond with, "One of these knives could very well save your life one day!" [Of course, so could a sharp pencil, but I'm not going to tell HER that!

(I'm very sure she already knows that, and is just lovingly letting me indulge myself in my favorite hobby.

Small Sebenza clipped on right pocket, and Umfaan (Arrow design) in my right pocket. I carry this combo everywhere I go, except Church. I buckled under my wife's pressure and only carry the Umfaan to church. ;-)

Right now,4 on me 2 in my briefcase and 3 in my truck plus a S&W mod 19 carry comp and a S&W 342 but then again I work in Miami,Fl

Daily, my "turkey" knife - AFCK.
Occasionally, I also carry a CS Kobun,
especially at night.
I've heard about Miami. Sounds a lot like
"Dodge City South".

Currently, my daily carry knives are the REKAT Carnivour and the BM Axis. However when my wife and I go to Disneyworld (about two to three times a month), my fanny-pack (the gun toting kind) contains a 5" Vacquero (in the gun tote section) and a gold TiNi Buck Crosslock Solitaire. One day I'm gonna mug the Mouse instead of the Mouse muggin' me!!LOL. I keep a left handed AFCK and a CRKT M16-04 in the glove box in case I walk out of the house and forget my regular carry knives. Fat Chance of that though!!
But, better safe than sorry!

Usually just one, maybe 2 - an AFCK and a Woo neck.

Please, no flames, but honestly isn't it abit excessive when you're getting into the double digits. I'm not talking about including a multi-tool, or carrying them because you like to fondle different ones throughout the day - but all for "tactical" purposes?

I mean, if you get 5 knives knocked away from you in a fight, and you're pulling your 6th blade, i don't even know what to say...

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Roger Ma;

I can't speak for the rest of the guy's, but I don't carry multiple knives for "combat" reasons. That is why I have one of my "tactical" folders on me all the time, but the rest of them are there just because I like them!

I always carry a Leatherman Micra and a Spyderco Ladybug. These are extremely useful on a daily basis and totally non-threatening. I rotate my one handers, going from large to small depending on where I'm going and what I expect to do that day. My current favorite large knives are the Emerson Commander, REKAT Carnivour, Spyderco Starmate and J.D. Smith. My favorite smaller knives are the Spyderco Native, Rookie, and Standard. Other favorite smaller knives are the Benchmade Mel Pardue 330, 705 Axis Lock, and Mel Pardue 720 Axis Lock.

MD Operator and a good folder on the person.
MD PATAK in whatever pack I have on me at the time.
Also Leatherman PST2, Micra but they don't really count.

Occasionally carry a large fighter.

A 4 bladed slip joint all the time.
A large Sebenza and/or minisocom when going out. Until I gave it away, a Leatherman micra.
Nothing really tactical.

It changes but at the moment when I go to work. It's a Spyderco Native tucked at the waistband but mainly hidden by my right arm and belt. A Cold Steel Vaquero Grande in my bag along with a Gerber Multiplier Tool. SwissCard in my wallet. And a Leatherman Micra on my keychain.

All the time I have a 3"neck knife of high carbon steel for whatever cutting I need to do and a 3" liner lock with D2 blade for cutting bar-b-que or other toxic tasting goodies. In addition to these, I may carry a few show and tell knives of various lengths for sale or trade.
The muggee needs the automatic. Ray Kirk

On me:
Victorinox Executive
BladeForums Native
BM 710

In my briefcase:
Spyderco Moran in kydex sheath
REKAT UNK

Some days I add another 710, and carry the UNK on me.

Bottom of right front pocket, Bladeforums Blue Native, sans clip. Right rear pocket, Gerber Covert.

Lately I try to hold myself to two knives, one for little chores, one for big, but there have been days when the knife fever was upon me and I left the house with up to seven knives on my person and in my gear bag.

Sickness.

Clay... In your hat? You carry a knife in your hat?

V. Krow, can you elaborate on this:

"I love coming, makes me feel less like a total wacko"

I have looked at the quote from every way I know how, and I still don't understand it;-)

I carry a Benchmade 710sbt in my front right pocket, factory clip position. I also carry a Victorinox Pioneer sometimes.
