How many EDC reasons do you have?

I EDC three every day. A Buck 110, a Buck 301 or 371 stockman, and a SAK Recruit or Marbles Scout knife.
This trio gives me a choice of blade profiles/types to choose from for the job at hand.

I have work carry, scout carry, and church carry.

Work - Sebenza (large WC 21, small WC 21, Small CF insingo, WC 25), XM-18, Slysz Bowie (New and fun!)

Scouts - SAK, Busse AMS, Swamprat Ratmandu, getting a Bravo 1 in the mail when I get home today

Church - Traditionals (right now I have a Northwoods Indian River Jack and a TC Barlow. Waiting for KSF to come out with the next run of the single blade Madison Barlow)

I carry one small knife in my pocket (no clip), always a Dragonfly or a Case Peanut, and one larger knife with a pocket clip. The larger knife varies quite a bit in brand, model and size and those factors are dictated more by whim than perceived necessity.

Three if you count the blade on my Leatherman. A fixed blade, a folder and the LM Wave are part of my everyday work carry.

I only have one edc reason: in case I come across a steak that needs slicing. For that, I rotate between several knives as I have to make sure I always have a sharp one in case the steak is tough.

I used to carry 2-3 knives all the time, for varying reasons. Beater knife, fine-edged knife, left-handed knife.

I just carry one knife at a time these days, but I have a work knife (Nura 3.5), a fancy knife (Protech Maple Burl Godfather), outside-of-work / when my USMC vet boss is closing the store knife (Kershaw-Emerson 4KXL), my knife that will be my EDC in most situations come November (ProTech TR4.1, autos are legal in OK in two weeks! Thank you, Mr. Ritter), and my ridiculous feeling-awesome knife (Cold Steel Large Polished Espada, soon to have a DLC XHP blade swapped into it.)

I also have a Brian Evans Companion fixed blade on order, which will likely become something I carry literally every day. Additionally, I just bought a Cold Steel Pro Guard off of the JerzeeDevil exchange, which I'll probably carry when I'm not working.

Depends on the day/night surprises... basically a PM2, if I gotta dress up a bit, a small Sebenza21... if am off to jog, i add a BK11.

Lately it's my dragonfly h1 or the g10 version in my watch pocket and a Spyderco Manix 2 or an Emerson Horseman in my right front pocket.

Work has been a Native 5 lightweight. Carries well and gets the job done.

Off time it's a Caly 3. Although lately I've be carrying a Native 5 with S110V and carbon fiber scales. For dressier occasions I'll carry a Chaparral.

For gym shorts it's an orange Dragonfly 2.

For me it's
Work: PM2, leatherman wave
Around house: Millie Cruewear
Dress up event/going out: DF 2 or Smith and Sons Mudbug

I don't have many folders, but I just need light to medium use as I am a desk jockey. On the weekend if I determine I may need something butch, but don't want to carry a fixed blade, I carry my TSF Beast, Spyderco Gayle Bradley, or Kizer Ki423. The rest of my knives are light to medium duty, good for the 9-5:

PM2
Manix 2
Brous Bionic
Southern Grind Spider Monkey

Dragonfly 2 when I'm in the city and have to obey the blade length limit.
