How many Izula owners don't wrap the handle?

I just got an Izula yesterday and I kinda like it the way it is.

Everyone I show it to says I should wrap it with paracord.

I took off the paracord, because the profile is much lower that way.

I wear it as a necker, and prefer it without the paracord wrap. You can't even tell I'm wearing it. With the paracord it was a little bulky. I find the handle comfortable as is, for its intended cutting chores.

I liked mine without... but when I wrapped it, I liked it better. Try it both ways and go for the one that suits your use.

It's easy enough and should be fun.

I still like the low profile without the wrapping. My Izula is black and I also ordered 100 feet of black paracord from KSF when I ordered it. I have to use that paracord for something. It's worth a try, and I might just like it.

Maybe, I'll wrap one and order another and keep it unwrapped. I'll have the best of both worlds.

the great thing is, they don't have to stay wrapped, or unwrapped. mine's changed half a dozen times in less than a week. think i'll unwrap it again...

I my OD izula plain. It feel fine in my hand the way it is, though the guy that was talking about scales may be on to something.

I just got mine today, and the first thing I did was wrap it.

Mine is wrapped right now, but if the cord gets muddy, etc., I cut it off and start again - so, sometimes it's wrapped, sometimes not. I like it both ways.

Problem is, I have enormous hands, and it is just more comfortable with the wrap. I wear it in a pocket anyway.

I used to carry mine un-wrapped but I left it exposed to the sun for about an hour one time while working on a project and it got so damn hot I couldn't hold it. My Izula is black and it and the Florida sun just don't get along. I also carry mine in my back pocket all the time and I think the wrap saves a little wear and tear on the pocket.
