How many knives can you EDC at once?

There are times where I just wanna see how many knives I can cram into my clothing, for no reason in particular. Has anybody else done this? Is this just something n00b knifeknuts do before they mature up act like adults by only carrying 1 or 2?

I personally managed 8 at once, with some Tru-Spec pants that had the extra knife pockets. 2 front pockets, 2 knife pockets, 2 back pockets, a necker, and a multi-tool on the belt. I felt proud of the accomplishment personally. :)

What's the most knives you've ever carried when going about your daily routine?

Why would you need 8 knives?
I don't know how I'd explain myself if I were pulled over by cops, that looks pretty sketchy...

This is the biggest I'll go on a given day, with the addition to a Leatherman on my belt...
And even then, I feel sketchy carrying a Bali even though the law states nothing about them in Il.

Fun thead idea and I feel sure you will get some interesting responses. With cargo pants I could easily carry 6 folding knives, a neck knife and two fixed blades on my belt. But why bother? I carry two normally when I wear cargo pants (a very common wardrobe item for me) unless you count the tiny SAK on a key chain. It never cut anything and will probably remove it. Don't have cargo pants on at the moment, and all I have is my lowly SAK in my pocket.

I usually EDC three if were talking just knives and not the number of blades they contain. A Spyderco Manix 2, a Leatherman Charge TTI, and a Spyderco Grasshopper on my key-chain.

The most I carry is three. A small fixed, my main folder of the day, and a little keychain knife. Even that is maxing out my "comfort zone" for knives.

On occasion my fixed gets left behind if I am trying out a new folder, but still want to have a "trusted" folder with me.

Normal for me is folder and a multitool of some sort.

I have no doubt if I WANTED to in the right clothing I could carry upwards of twenty knives.

I carry 2 plus a leatherman multi tool. Usually one knife with a very refined edge and the other with a wider sharp but toothy edge. I figure that way I can get through most days just fine without having to kill a freshly sharpened edge. I am a very "right tool for the right job" kind of person.

I can only carry 2 max at a time, any more gets on my nerves since I carry a pistol as well plus wallet and keys.

This. I carry too much other stuff (read glock and ammo) to care about carrying more than 2 or 3 (large folder, small fixed, and SAK, I don't consider my small MT a knife).

Normally, one. Occasionally, I'll go dualies with two of my larger knives and scare the hell out of the squirrels. And the neighbors (I live in an apartment complex, first floor). I once chased a raccoon away from the dumpsters with my Cold Steel Recon 1.

This kid could probably EDC 20-30 easy.
Packing all that stuff is fine, and not particularly difficult when you're just standing there in front of a table. I'd like to see him do the day to day school routine while carrying all those guns...

As far as knives - I've left the house with 6 once; though it wasn't exactly intentional. 2 in my pack (fairly normal for me), 2 in my jacket (not normal), 2 in my cargo pants (sometimes).
When it's cold enough for me to be wearing a coat, I generally carry a knife in my pants OR my coat...occasionally on in each. I had been doing some work earlier in the day, and had a knife in one of the leg pockets because it was convenient to what I was doing. I forgot it was there. Grabbing my coat as I left was an afterthought, and I didn't think to check the pockets....and there was a knife on the counter when I walked past, so I grabbed it - just in case I didn't already have one. It wasn't a big deal, in that they weren't in the way or visible to others; but, once I realized it, I felt like a bit of a freak.

A Wenger Esquire weighs .6oz and is tiny. In my usual pants (5.11 Stryke cargos) I could carry over 100.

The most I have carried on body is 2 folders + Esquire or Juice S2. Adding in my EDC bag, an ESEE 3.

Normally, 1 plus the Esquire.

I usually carry two, rotate one larger (Military, ParaMilitary, Barrage, Large Sebenza) and one sub EDC (S30v Leek, Small Sebenza, Chaparrel, SOG Twitch 2, Boker Subcom). If I know I will be on a job site that day I will also carry my Leathermam. Outside of work usually just a Subcom 42 while in Germany or a Domino/small Sebenza when I'm in the states.

Most I've ever carried is 3, folder clipped to the pocket, SAK on the keychain, and one of those little wallet multitool things that had a small knife as one of the tools.

I have carry a box cutter, SAK, and a 5" fixed blade in my work bag (these three blades have lived on this bag for about 2 years now).

I will usually carry just a folder on my person. Occasionally ill throw a small fixed blade on my belt, or put on a necker.

I used to carry three folders, each with unique roles. Right front pocket held my main folder, which generally was my nicer folder with a keen edge that I only used on detail work. Front left pocket was a left-hand-operable folder in case my right hand was occupied, and was generally a beefier beater knife. Right rear pocket was my utility knife, which was initially a boxcutter, then a Tuff Lite, and then a Brous Bionic.

These days, I carry just one knife front right pocket. I may go back to a 2-knife system soon, however, as I really do miss having a dedicated "ultra sharp" and "beater" knife system. It worked really well.
