  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many knives do you carry at a time?

Usually 4, folder (left weak side), folder right side, neck knife and one on my multi tool on the belt. Today I am especially sick as I have a Survive GSO 4.1 on the belt as well, strong side.

Usually 3-4. Very small pocket knife (usually a SAK) and lately , my Spyderco resilience and Manix XL, although I find my best friend BM 710 creeping into my pocket ALOT. I have a p'kal, but I love the BM for a Pakal knife.....

I tried carrying 2 for awhile
It was ok, but I think I'll stick to one for most occasions.

Recently I carry two with me. My Spyderco Dragonfly2 H-1 is always on me, and I usually compliment it with something over 3". Recently it's been my ZT0200.

4. My right front pocket is for my edc rotation folder. Usually a Spyderco or Emerson variant. Two favs are Manix II in S30V with custom Jade G10 Anso patterned scales or an Emerson Mini Commander (154CM) which has Jade G10 custom scales sanded smooth and all the hardware replaced with stainless. On my belt appendix carry is a Survive Necker in M390. Around my neck is a Bark River necker in CPM 3V. In my pocket is a Spyderco Ladybug in ZDP-189

As many as possible. More tools = more options.
At this moment, waiting to leave for church, I have eight different items that can cut a coupon out of the Sunday paper. Do I need them all? Of course not, but this is America so I am free to carry what I desire(while abiding by all local, state, and federal laws).
;)

Four most of the time:
  • I have an Opinel #6 in every bag/backpack in case I forget all other knives.
  • Then an Opinel #8 in each coat/jacket in case I forget to take my EDC.
  • EDC in right front pocket.
  • And some kind of moltitoolish thing on the belt (Leatherman Kick or Vik Tinker mostly).

On a usually day i carry 5 knives.
(even to school)
1. Victorinox Classic
2. Victorinox Climber
3. ESEE 3(Because I can hahaha)
4. Victorinox Multitool
5. Eden keychain knife, got it for free with a PM2:D

Lately I've been carrying 2 on me. One of my folders in my right front pocket and a small fixed blade in my coat pocket. I figure that combo can handle anything the day throws at me.

Two, usually, for EDC. A Vic SD Classic SAK on the keyring. And either a black SAK Swiss Champ or lighter SAK Explorer in pocket.

If hiking/camping/boating, 3 or 4. The Champ plus a backup Champ plus a 111mm SAK Fireman with the larger locking blade/serrated/saw combo. And if longer than a dayhike then a larger fixed blade, 7" KaBar USMC or Ontario SP1. Good general utility/firewood knives.
Over the years I have learned to value redundancy. Backup knives, backup headlamps, backup fire sources.

Usually 2 and a Victorinox classic on my keychain.
Usually my BM 530 or 940 for main carry, and an old Schrade X-timer in case anybody asks me for a knife (had way too many bad experiences with non-knife people)

I always have a folder in my left front pocket.
In my work bag is a Leatherman Blast and also either a Delica SB or a Peasant.
I don't like my keys to be too heavy so I eliminated a knife there.

I usually roll with Two One large for Self defense and a smaller EDC. Sometimes I carry a medium size knife that fits into both rolls.
