  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many knives do you carry at a time?

One or two on my. Usually one of my Benchmades, the HK 3.5 inch when I'm going to places with length limits or my 275 otherwise. Sometimes at work I'll put on my Randall Gambler, or more recently the Caldwell knife that we also sell in the store. I also have a Gerber multitool in my messenger bag or gun case. If I'm out in the woods I'll probably have my Becker BK2 and a Woodsman's Pal in my pack.

EDC - a slip joint pocketknife (usually a Stockman or Jack, around 3-1/2"); if hunting I carry a heavier pocketknife (Buck 307) and a fixed blade, drop-point skinning knife (Buck, Marbles, Western, and Randall) are some brands I use. OH

One in my day to day.....If I'm doing something the requires a certain knife (cleaning animals, chopping wood/brush clearing, etc...) I pack my EDC and the knife I intend to use.

For latch ditch self defense i carry a spyderco pkal. But for work its either my rat 1 or ontario utillitac 2 and for fancy work days its my zt560

Well, I carry a Smth &Wesson Homeland Security folding knife in my right front pocket. In my left front pocket I carry a Buck folder with a 2 1/2" blade. Both knives I keep sharp in case I need them. The Buck I use as my letter opener and the Smith is my main knife for the size of the blade.

Right now I'm at 3...

I have a ZT 0350 as a larger folder. Sometimes I carry my Cold Steel Lawman instead... Love of both of these blades! I have my eye on a ZT 560 if I can ever get the money together.

For smaller stuff, I have my Spyderco Sage 2.. Which I may interchange with the smaller Mini Lawman or Mini Recon 1 depending on how I'm feeling. Recently I picked up a CRKT Swindle at my local knife shop and that makes for a very nice EDC blade as well... It's also very sleek and refined.

On my keychain I have a Micro Recon 1 which I will use for opening packages or envelopes... Or anytime when I'm in a place where I can't carry a knife.

If I'm outdoors either camping or hiking... I will always carry my full-size Kabar in my pack. I've also had much luck with the Kabar ZK War Sword. At some point I may get a Becker BK9 but haven't had the money for it.

Most of the time 4, always two tactical folders held on to my pockets via the stock clips. I also always have my small tanto neck knife at all times. My last EDC depends on who, what, when, where, why. It's usually either a double edge knife I hide strapped to my calf. Or a small fixed blade which is only like 7 inches overall. Like i said it depends on where I'm headed and whats going onz

I've carried the same Terzuola clipped right front pocket since 1988. I know it without looking like its part of my hand. I keep it sharp and use it sparingly; in the other pocket I have a Randall Gilbreath liner lock I use for most casual purposes, from cutting to scratching off bingo lottery tickets (you need a precision point to only clear 1 number at a time, too clumsy & it, well if you've been there you know, if not, consider yourself ahead of that game). I used to have a problem always wanting to carry & try out whatever was newly purchased just long enough to render in no longer NIB. The Terzuola & Gilbreath have obviously met my needs for basically every day going on 25 years now.

99% of the time I have 3 on me. I always have my Russlock in my right front pocket, clipped there is a modern of some sort as well. The third is my loaner and clipped to my left front pocket. Which goes where depends on mood. Sometimes it's a Vantage with the Endura as a loaner, maybe the dlc Shallot backed up by a skyline! The only constant is the Russlock.

no less than one :) ever, and depending on whether I am at the office, in the shop or on the trail, no less than 3. Failure is an option when using blades heavily, so having backups is important to me. At least one will be fixed if I am carrying beyond edc.

Usual carry is just my Military with a Wave on my belt but I have added a smaller blade for general tasks not requiring a longer blade.

Two is one and one is none....;)

I carry a Benchmade 63 Balisong on my belt and a Microtech Ultratech OTF in my cargo pocket.

The balisong is for bigger jobs and the Ultratech I use to open my mail.

It used to be one. One folder in my right front pocket. Now I've started to carry a small Schrade Old Timer Stockman in my change pocket as well.

Usually 2. My EDC folder and a credit card knife (Marc Mummert CCL) in my wallet. Sometimes I'll carry a second folder or a small fixed blade as well.
