My wife asked me for a knife yesterday, and I realized I had 5 on me that I could choose from. I know I'm not alone. So how many do YOU carry at any given time?

Only one or two knives plus two tiny blades (one on my mini multitool and one in my swisscard. The 1.5" blade on the multitool gets the most use, because of the PC factor.

Normally one (Caly 3 or small Seb). If I'm heading out hiking or camping, I'll add a Military or large Sebbie.

Currently I'm edcing a Byrd Raven, Victorinox huntsman, S&W stockman, Leatherman wave. I mostly use the stockman, I'll use the main blade for food and larger utility tasks, the sheepsfoot blade for most utility tasks, and the Byrd Raven will be for cutting when I can't access my other blades which is usually when I'm holding something or wearing gloves.

let's see;SAK explorer left front always, right front, some sort of one hander clipped to pocket, maybe a dressy folder in pocket, right rear 4or 5 inch fixed blade, left rear belt SAK spiritAlways,AG Russell UPK on key ring, various neck knives,so seven most days. Man that sounds weird, but I hate not having my nice toys with me. I have a traffic court date coming up and they screen,so I don't know what I am going to do, that day

3 every day. A Case swayback, a RAT Izula, and either a blue zdp Delica or Benchmade 530. So I've got a slipjoint, locking folder, and fixed blade on me at all times! :D

Minimum of 2, usually 3. EDC knife + SAK + MT. Sometimes I'll leave the SAK or EDC knife at home depending on what I'm doing or going.

Depends on how many pockets I have ! Actually like a golfer you carry and use the appropriate knife for the job.

Am I the only person who carries 1 most of the time? I have my orange Tyrade, occasionally my Od-1 in addition. But that's it. I use the Od-1 if I'm around sheeple like at a restaurant.

Minimum of 2 -- a large Sebenza and a Vic SAK . . . but often, especially if I'm in a formal situation or business lunch, I throw in a smaller, more elegant folder, like an Mnandi w/ mammoth ivory inlay.

I always have a Vic Classic and a medium/large folder. Sometimes I carry a small lockback or slippy on top of that if I might have some extended knife use where the the large knife is overkill.

Two or three. i work almost all day, most days, in my gardens, so i rotate a few of my custom FBs and carry a medium sized folder as well. i often also slip on my Schrade U.S.A. Multitool.
when going to 'town'(village actually) i will usually forego the FB and carry one of my custom folders as well as one of many vintage Gents knives with scissors.
strangely, many people view carrying a knife as a sign of anti-social behaviour, and carrying more than 1, as proof. in reality it is often a sign of addictive behaviour found in "knife Knuts", who as a sub group, are the most likely to use a knife carefully and responsibly; respecting not only others, but the knife as well.
they are my toys and i'll "play"(carry) with them if i want to(always).

On my person? 3 usually. A small Sebenza clipped in my right front pocket. A Vic Minichamp on my keychain, and something different dropped in one of my other pockets. (I'm trying to go a whole year carrying the Sebenza, but I cheat by carrying other stuff too)

If you count my bag, I usually have several more. I have a Leatherman Wave, A Vic Champ, A Busse Gamewarden, A RAT RC-4 and a RAT Izula in there today I think. I like knives. I'm at work, going through the drawers of my desk, I found 13 more knives. It's a sickness. Don't feel bad. No matter how weird you are, there will always be somebody weirder.
