How many knives do you carry?

Depends on what I'm going to be doing or where I'll be.It's usually 1(main EDC locking folder,or small fixed) or 2,sometimes I'll grab a SAK to tag along. So,at the most it would be three.

One small folder in the pants pocket and a hobo kit (folding knife, folding spoon, and folding fork in a small canvas pouch) in my lunch bag.

Always no more than one knife... At school it's a Dragonfly or Ladybug for PC reasons. Weekends it's a black bladed Endura if I'm in cargo shorts or a custom folder I just got from JT Clark if I'm wearing denims. On very rare occasions it's one of my Vic Farmers; for reasons unknown I'm very scared of getting the alox scales scratched up. It's not expensive by any means but I find her way too pretty for dirty work.

2-3 including my mini champ. I have some in small edc kits in my bag, that I generally don't count because they are not there for use, but for the rare emergency when I have NO knife.

In my front right I carry my BM Kulgera daily. In my back right I carry my waved Endura 4. But that will sometimes switch out for my Takach fixed blade. Oh, and I also have a swiss-tech key on my key chain, so I say two and a half knives.

I don't think I have ever carried more than one knife on my person. Sometimes when I am camping I will have a second knife in my gear, but generally I just don't find the need for more than one at a time.

Usually one or two. I like to carry just a little slipjoint for the most part, but it's nice to have a one-hander now and again.

At least 2 on my person everyday. One Kershaw Leek folder clipped to my right front pocket, and one fixed blade either in my left front pocket or carried IWB under a shirt.

I tend to alternate between fixed blades, but I always have my Kershaw Leek for a beater/utility knife.

Two, always two. And sometimes three.

My primary knife alternates between my small regular Sebanza and my SnG.

The secondary knife is a Vic Soldier.

If I'm out in the yard or garden, I'll add a combo blade Endura.

dan :)

100% of time schrade stockman carbon steel.
98% of time leatherman pst II in holster with mini mag.
90% of time case two blade carbon steel xx no other id markings, long
blades over 3 inches. Drop point and sort of a spey blade.
Use the first two all the time, the case just fore pleasure.

at work, on the chesapeake bay, i carry a spyderco pacific salt. at home or "out and about" i have the pacific salt left pocket tip up, and a kershaw packrat or skyline tip up in right pocket. around college, a kershaw packrat or skyline clip removed, carried in my pocket. in dress pants, so i dont fray the pockets, i have a case peanut and or one of the 2 kershaws mentioned on pocket, not clipped.
i want to get a salt series fixed blade for work, and get a small swiss to add to my EDC's.

Hmmmm, now that I think about it, quite a lot. Lemme see...
  • Kershaw Skyline clipped to my right-front pocket
  • SAK Classic attached to my Fenix L0D
  • Kershaw OD-1 in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • Spyderco Tenacious in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • Spyderco Endura 4 in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • Kershaw Lahar in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • SAK Swiss Tool in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • Soon to have Zero Tolerance ZT0300 in my backpack (EDC/BOB)
  • Soon to have a fixed 5-6" blade of some sort (maybe a Becker Companion, RAT RC-5 or RAT-5)

When I do add the fixed blades, I will remove 2 folders form my backpack.

I think I have as many knives on me as I do flashlights (LED). :o

Durring the work week I have three. A one handed knife, Kershaw Skyline today, a SAK Climber in the pocket and on my key ring a Vic Classic to keep my finger nails smooth and trimmed for finger style guitar playing.

When I get a new knife I carry it to get used to it, I'm left handed and a lot of knives take some getting used to. My newest is the BM Griptillion, this knife is quickly becomming one of my favorite, its the closest thing to a left handed folder I've ever owned.

I always have either my Dozier Whittler or my Dozier Reverse Tanto. Very seldom do I carry a folder anymore. So the answer is one. But if I am going in the woods, I will have two.

I usually carry a dozen or so. Generally not more than two dozen, unless they are really small.
